Chrysanthe scooted closer to Iris and hugged her limp body, while the black wyvern growled ferociously at the faerie queen. It wasn't able to take on its larger form since it hadn't fed on enough dark magic from Iris before leaving Aisgarth.

Still, Queen Asheera was disgusted that something as filthy as the black wyvern had been close to Iris, and the fact that Kieran had allowed this creature near her. She didn't even bother to hide her disgust as she looked at it.

Amelia put herself between the faerie queen and her friends, pulling out the demonic sword she had received from Yuri, surprising not only Queen Asheera but Liliana as well.

"Amelia, no!" Ricci gasped upon seeing the blade that almost took over Amelia's body during their time at the Court of Moonlight. While darklings like her could resist the bloodlust of the demonic sword Amelia was wielding, humans like her could easily succumb and be corrupted by it.
