Cries of humans filled the castle as Iris's magic spread around. The floor cracked, and several black, thorny vines crawled from it. The vines slithered across the room, entangling anyone in their path. It represented the Dark Queen's eagerness to destroy everything. 

Panic ensued as people desperately tried to escape the clutches of the dark magic but failed. Even the guards could not stop Iris and the darklings from harming them.
