Iris had already lost track of time inside the labyrinth, because every waking minute was spent slashing her opponents down. Asra wasn't faring any better because he was also kept busy by the darklings that kept showing up and obstructing their way, each stronger than the previous one.

One thing was certain, though, they were still at the fourth level of the labyrinth and hadn't made any progress towards the lower levels. Life within the labyrinth was hard. Even demons like her and Asra wouldn't dare close their eyes and lower their guards, considering how dangerous the place was.

Being a demon, Iris hadn't felt hunger since she and Asra entered the labyrinth. Perhaps it was because she was busy absorbing the magic of her opponents instead. She hadn't asked Sera and Killian about it, but Iris surmised this was why she wasn't feeling any hunger or thirst for some time now.
