Pepper's eyes flashed with rage and she glued her eyes to him.

She glued her eyes on the man in front of her...her man. Maybe she was mistaken,. maybe she didn't hear him well because there was no way he would keep her in the dark about something as important as a living brother.

This was a mistake. It had to be a big mistake and so, she decided to ask him the question on her mind just to be sure.

"Wait! Your Kurt….is my Kurt?"

Pepper waited patiently for an answer but it never came and so she repeated her question.

"For goodness sake! Don't play dumb with me right now. Are you telling me that the Kurt that I spent almost all my time in the office with is your Kurt?The same Kurt I talk to you everyday about is…actually the brother you told me never existed in the first place?" Pepper asked him.
