Hampton Street is located in the Islington district of North London, the cultural and artistic center of London.
There are many theaters around, including the Pleasance Theatre, Almeida Theatre, King's Head Theatre, Sadler's Wells Theatre, and the famous Egg Bar is also nearby.
Daniel Radcliffe's residence is less than 800 meters away from the King's Head Theatre. It is a dozen-story townhouse with a grid-like marble panel exterior, Gothic double-pointed windows, and stained glass, full of classical charm.
"Haha, Link, welcome!"
When they arrived at Daniel's apartment, the door was open, and there were more than ten young men and women drinking and chatting in the living room, mostly actors from the "Harry Potter" crew.
Seeing him at the door, Robert, the "golden retriever," turned his head, opened his arms, and greeted him warmly.
Daniel also walked over from the crowd and welcomed him.
"Hi, Daniel, Robert, long time no see!"
Link hugged them and handed Daniel a gift, a bottle of Bordeaux red wine, which Daniel thanked him for.
Robert pulled Link into the party and shouted:
"Hey everyone, please allow me to introduce to you the distinguished guest standing next to me, the current WBA world boxing champion, Olympic boxing champion, world swimming champion, world-renowned singer, and famous actor, Mr. Link Baker."
Clap clap clap!
Everyone in the living room applauded enthusiastically at Link.
"Robert, thank you for the introduction. I don't have that many titles. Just call me Link."
Link chuckled.
"Link, I'm your fan. Can you sign for me?"
Tom, who played Draco Malfoy, took out two records.
"Hey, Tom, this is a party, not a signing event. Don't treat this as a star-chasing scene, okay? We'll get the autographs later."
Robert invited Link to sit on the sofa in the middle.
Link was quick, and in just a few dozen seconds, he signed autographs for several fans who wanted them.
Among them were a few familiar actors, and Link politely said that he had seen their plays and thought their performances were wonderful.
Except for Draco Malfoy, the others were not very famous. Hearing that he had seen their plays, they were all excited.
"Link, you're an amazing guy."
Robert handed him a glass of sparkling wine and put his arm around his shoulder, saying, "When I saw you in Orlando last year, you were still an amateur boxer. In just over a year, you've become a big star. It's amazing. How did you do it?"
As they talked, everyone else stood around the sofa, listening to their conversation.
Link shrugged and smiled, "Maybe I'm just lucky. After becoming a boxing champion, I gained some fame, and doing other things seems to have become easier."
"You're too modest. Lucky people don't win world boxing championships, break world swimming records, or sell tens of millions of albums. Link, you're amazing. It's hard to imagine that I would know someone as amazing as you."
Robert patted his shoulder excitedly.
"Yes, Link, every time we see your news in the newspaper, seeing those amazing achievements, we feel it's incredible."
Daniel stood in front with a glass of wine, smiling.
He was wearing a V-neck sweater, not tall, with a shy smile. Even without the round glasses of 'Harry Potter,' he still looked like Harry Potter.
"Okay, please stop flattering me, or I'll tell you that I grew up watching your movies."
Link joked, looking at them.
"Haha, that's not wrong."
Robert laughed, then suddenly stopped, his eyes looking beyond the crowd, his face turning serious.
Everyone followed his gaze and saw a girl in a blue crew-neck sweater and a white Chanel skirt walk in.
She was wearing black leather shoes, her golden medium-length hair tied in a ponytail, revealing a delicate oval face and fair collarbone. Because the sweater was loose, it only revealed a slight curve of her chest, but her hips, outlined by the belt, were quite perky.
She pursed her thin lips, her fair face expressionless, looking a bit cold. Her dark brown eyes swept across the crowd and landed on Link.
"Emma, you're here."
Daniel greeted her warmly.
"Daniel, congratulations."
Emma Watson handed the small paper bag in her hand to Daniel, who was stunned for a moment, a bit confused: "Congratulations on what?"
"Your new movie has a global box office of over 800 million dollars. Isn't that worth congratulating?" Emma Watson said.
Daniel understood. She was talking about "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," which currently had a global box office of over 800 million. But she was also the lead actress in this movie, was it necessary to congratulate her?
Suddenly, he remembered that Emma called yesterday, saying that the movie's box office had exceeded 800 million, and they should have a party to celebrate and invite Link to attend. Today's party theme seemed to be this.
"Okay, Emma, congratulations to you too."
Daniel smiled.
Others also greeted Emma.
"Hi, Emma, long time no see."
Link stood up and greeted everyone.
Emma looked up at him, snorted softly through her upturned nose, and pulled Robert aside. In a lowered voice, she said, "Yesterday I said we were having a gathering for four, why are there so many people?"
"Huh? Did you say that?" Robert asked, blinking innocently.
Emma's face turned cold, and she pinched his arm hard. Robert hissed, his face contorting in pain. He covered his mouth with his hand to stifle a scream.
"Daniel invited them, not me."
"Impossible, Daniel isn't as bad as you."
Emma snorted, patted her skirt, and walked over to the sofa beside Link. She sat down with her back straight and knees together, looking very ladylike.
"What were you guys talking about just now?"
"We were talking about how your new movie is a big hit, a box office champion. Congratulations."
Link said, holding a light beer.
Beside them, Robert rubbed his arm, sucking in a breath of air. Since meeting Emma on the set of Harry Potter at the age of twelve, he had been pinched countless times over the past seven or eight years, and this time was particularly painful.
Seeing Link and Emma chatting, Daniel stood beside them with a smile, looking very superfluous but unaware of it.
Robert couldn't help but sigh, pulling Daniel onto the balcony. He rolled up his sleeve, pointing to the red mark where he had been pinched.
"Dude, I did this all for you."
"How did this happen?"
Daniel asked, looking at it.
"Emma, that little wildcat, pinched me. Her fingers must be poisonous."
Robert glanced at Emma and lowered his voice, "Yesterday, Emma only suggested inviting Link over, so the four of us could have a gathering here. I deliberately invited Tom and the others too, you know why?"
"You were worried about neglecting Link, a party with more people is more lively."
Daniel thought for a moment and said.
"Wrong!"
Robert put his arm around Daniel's shoulder and whispered, "Dude, I'm doing this for you. Emma only suggested inviting Link because she wanted to have a secret rendezvous with him here, using us as cover to avoid gossip. Hehe, now that I've invited Tom and the others, there are too many people, so she won't be able to have a secret rendezvous with Link here, understand?"
Robert raised his eyebrows smugly.
Daniel shook his head, "Robert, you shouldn't have done that. Emma is our friend, if she wants to date Link here, we should help her. You shouldn't deliberately cause trouble."
Robert was stunned, "Don't you like Emma? You don't mind seeing her and Link having a secret rendezvous here?"
Daniel glanced at Emma and whispered, "A little bit, but I know she really likes Link, and I don't want to see her disappointed and sad."
"You!!"
Robert gritted his teeth, glaring at him with a look of disapproval, "Fine! Fine! You're the great romantic, and I'm the clown. I was acting on my own."
"But still, thank you."
Daniel put his arm around his shoulder and said.
"No need, I don't deserve your thanks."
Robert pushed his hand away, his face still sullen.
"Hey, what are you two whispering about over there?"
Emma looked over and asked.
"Robert said he likes watching the sunset from my balcony."
Daniel walked over with a smile and said.
Robert glanced at the western sun, like a red tangerine hidden in the thick smog. What was there to see?
However, he noticed that there were many unfamiliar cars parked on both sides of Hampton Avenue below, and some suspicious people with cameras were wandering around the street. As a long-time celebrity, he could tell at a glance that these guys were paparazzi.
