81.66% - BORUTO and NARUTO: What We Will Be Someday / Chapter 49: PART 2.

Capítulo 49: PART 2.

It wasn't as hot as I would have hoped. He had taken the most protected underground route from the surface, and therefore more meters below ground level.

The moon had bestowed upon him a dissatisfaction and worry that surpassed his experience. The reason was obvious: Even if he had the job, obligation and duty to take care of those who were lost due to time, that did not mean that it was routine work.

For her, it was better never to have worked; Not guiding anyone meant that no person from another time had opened the scroll. But his life, and his long years of waiting, had come together into one to remind him why he did what he did.

All of their ancient knowledge had been resurrected in just a couple of weeks, since the unexpected arrival of the children.

It had never been this cold in the depths of the ground before. If that's how the tunnels were, with the amount of dirt above them, under their feet and around them; Then I didn't want to imagine what the cold was like on the surface.

She, the most adult person in the group, and therefore someone who is exempt from the Parchment and its Promise, felt a very uncomfortable and disturbing cold, as if a wave of poisonous and melancholy sighs were waiting for her as she ascended to the surface; A ghost world.

His walk was more precise than the rest. The Great Elder wanted to get to the next hiding place as soon as possible, and quickly cross the surface.

Not only did she not usually ascend on her own, but she also did not usually have refugee children from time in her care. Any mistake on the surface could cost you your life; But more importantly, that of children. So the nerves carried her like the edge of a knife, always waiting to be used, but with the unknown of knowing how.

"Ji-kyu!"

A sneeze echoed through the walls, and along the tunnel in a tube. The older woman, with a torch raised in her hand, looked over her shoulder to see the owner of the sound that had been repeated for the fourth time.

Among the many children who followed her disorderly and in scattered groups was a blond mustachioed boy, with his ash-colored cloak on his shoulders. Boruto, with his arms under his cloak, warmed his body by rubbing his arms with his hands, while he attached them more to his own body.

The rest of his friends were also suffering from a similar cold. Since they were all wearing their pajama clothes, they were not protected from the outside cold, so the Old Woman made it easier for them to wear the cloaks in which they first arrived at the hiding place.

There wasn't a single boy or girl dressed differently. Everyone from someone as tall as Iwabee to someone as small as Tsubaki wore the same pants, the same button-down shirts, and the same sweaters of wool or old fabric that barely closed over. They even had the same layers.

However, The Old Woman was the only one who did not suffer from the same cold that was disturbing them on their walk.

"I-It's a long way off?, I'm freezing down here..."

At Boruto's whine, Sarada half-turned, looking over his shoulder and shaking his battered hair in the process. A slightly furrowed brow was interspersed beneath the foggy glasses.

"Boruto, do you really think that's going to fix our situation?" Unusually, what was expected as a scolding from Sarada, ended up being more like a reproach in understanding. His brow furrowed with sorrow, while his tone reflected discouragement. "If we go out under the full moon, the same thing will happen to us again, we can't risk it. We were saved because Grandma and her family helped us."

"I know all that! It's just..." the Uzumaki murmurs. Sarada beat him by a few steps, and he tried to match them with the cold trembling passing through his legs. "I don't understand... I just want to know why all this is happening to us!" Weren't they content to leave us far behind in time AND without any allies?!"

Again, Sarada was going to protest peacefully. Apparently, it was down thanks to the phenomenon of the moon, which affected them all equally, keeping them as still as if an electromagnetic force took over their senses.

Sarada had recovered along with the others when the Old Woman hid them in the dark, but now that they were walking and blindly heading for the outside air, she didn't know if her feeling was due to the moon or to the nerves of the conclusion she had reached earlier, regarding the blissful lunar phenomenon.

Eida, the young girl who was once Konoha's enemy, and in turn, a suspicious ally, could be involved. And as a consequence of that scenario, probably, not only Kawaki was alive, but also Code... the Man who destroyed all those they loved.

That only made her reflect even more silently, and each time, she was more and more stunned. To the point of not having any courage to confront Boruto. His childhood friend was immature and mostly grumble, but in recent days, even Sarada wanted to join him and do the same together.

Why did this happen to them...?

"You yourselves came to a conclusion." Sarada looked away from her friend, and directed him to the woman who was leading them at their own pace. "And I will do nothing but believe them. After all, the reason you were rewound has to be in your time, not mine."

There was no reason to question the old woman. They knew that it referred to the curiosity of the children, regarding who would be involved, or at least, who was closest to the reason for the activation of the Scroll in Konoha.

Sarada had spoken few times with Eida, the Ino-Shika-Chou never got more than just a few talks since Eida herself was uncomfortable with extremely weak presences in the face of her ability, and the rest of the teams did not even know more about Eida than her name, age and origin; in addition to the known techniques, thanks to the revelation that Sarada recently provided them.

They had very few cards on the table; Without any apparent reason to defend the idea of why Eida would still be alive. More, however, they had enough reasons why the second leader of Konoha would keep her and her brother alive.

If Code had come to the village to destroy it, there would have to be an ulterior motive for specifically killing the Jōnin himself, without using the Filth he controlled.

There would also have to be a Why for Young Albino's goal. Sarada knew some things, but not all the details; And Shikadai and his team, only information that was given to the rest of the Ninjas in the same way, with the exception of some details leaked by his own parents.

But they had come to a small conclusion, which linked the girl who had arrived in Konoha, Kawaki's Crush.

"I lived with her for a few weeks only." Boruto says, with his hands tucked into his armpits to protect himself from the cold.

Sarada turned to look at him, but he had shifted his attention to the front altogether, not wanting to be betrayed as someone who had read his childhood friend's thoughts.

"She's very quiet, and although she can be dismissive of her passive comments at times, I never know what's going through her head. Sometimes I asked her why she liked Kawaki, but even she didn't know how to answer me. He talks about love without knowing exactly if what he feels is really love."

The Great Grandmother listened intently to Young Uzumaki as she led the group. His closest friends tried to visualize the face of the aforementioned girl, with the descriptions of behavior that Boruto had described.

The Mustachioed child purses his lips, which trembled momentarily due to a chill coming from his lower limbs. The cold was smoother and smoother, caressing the skin more instead of mercilessly attacking the nerves.

"I see her capable of coming here if Kawaki did it too." Sentences the cerulean-eyed one. Everyone in the tunnel bites their tongues thanks to the cold that invaded them. Boruto remembered his days at his parents' house, living with Kawaki, until the day they had to live with Eida and her brother. "Even if I don't understand it; If his heart beats thousands at the thought of Kawaki, even if what he really feels is fear, he will come. I can say it."

Sarada was not surprised. Taketori Hoki, on the other hand, had his doubts. He approached Boruto's left shoulder, following him with a backward step, as serene as he used to be.

"Is it possible that Shikamaru-san offered you a deal? Can you say for sure?"

Boruto looks at him, half-heartedly, over his shoulder. He had found the perfect pose to keep his arms warm, he didn't want to ruin it.

He made an affirmative sound, but it was intermingled with doubt by the unconscious trembling of his muscles. Hoki did not take it as a warning, but as absolute security.

"She, suspicious as she may seem, is still our ally; Someone who lives in Konoha."

His words leave Hoki with a grimace on his face. The boy had never seen her, and he didn't seem willing to trust her just based on the words of a former classmate from the academy.

"The old man from Shikamaru takes advantage of any opportunity, no matter how small. He would never abandon Eida if it meant anything to us, the survivors. Think about it, it would be counterproductive to bring her, her brother's powers are already dangerous in themselves, as unknown."

"B-But then what would that deal be?" Namida, behind it all, united with her team, asks. "If the offer has to do with Kawaki-kun... Would that mean he's alive too?"

Boruto didn't want to turn around, but nodded strongly until his hair bounced a little, just enough for those in the back to see him.

He grimaced slightly at the memory of Kawaki. He had understood it late; He had understood his petty and envious behavior, too late. The two were still brothers, and Boruto didn't understand the importance of his role in Kawaki's life until the younger version of his father showed up in front of him.

Boruto had been rewound along with his friends, and now they were disowned and forgotten. But they were together... instead, Boruto constantly wondered if Kawaki was having a hard time being alone.

"I hope he is alive... I would never forgive myself if it were not so." He murmurs, wishing it were low enough. But Sarada and Hoki had each grimaced, refraining from sharing their opinions. "Obviously he would be saved, but now, without my Dad, everyone who knows him will fear him. Hopefully, Eida will want to do something about it, if she's so in love with him."

At the head of the walking group, the Elder woman listened attentively to every word of the Uzumaki. His understanding of the person in question was quite limited.

An idea was formed on the basis of the few words that children use to describe it, but the scope of maximum comprehension is still far from their disposal.

Boruto took a few seconds to correctly process the memories he had accumulated. The cataclysm was a heavy blow that literally threw them all behind, and most things were still fuzzy and confusing to him.

To His head were repeated all the times when Eida's face appeared; He thought it impossible that the girl had known about the cataclysm, even before it happened, and that she had not told anyone.

But that was already becoming a possibility. Nothing like any memory of Eida disturbed, or frightened by anything came to Him. Everything looked normal, nothing out of the ordinary, at least as far as Boruto got to know her.

He didn't have a Senrigan eye like Eida, but he could tell what he remembered and what he didn't.

He was sure that Eida never showed any signs of knowing anything, and that now that he was suspicious of her, he also did not believe that she had wanted them to know, which gave the One Uzumaki more questions than he already had with him.

"But that doesn't explain the rest." Boruto clarifies his previous revelation. Taking his hand out of his cloak, still attached to his body to keep warm, he held his chin; The lost gaze in some scenario that coincided with his speculation. "Why not summon Kawaki with us? Why did Eida not show up either, she would help Kawaki... I see her capable of helping us if we are part of some valuable exchange that interests her, but..."

Boruto could not finish. He had run out of some outstanding speculation. Eida was a painting painted by the most recognized painter in the artistic world!, she simply exceeded the limits of understanding.

He always said what he thought, not what he felt; She often expressed facially what she felt, but he never saw in her any expression far from the pure imperturbability that characterized her.

It was impossible to come up with an answer. Without knowing what it was that truly drove Eida, no one could reach her.

"And if he agreed to help us in exchange for saving Kawaki-kun as well?" Try to theorize Enko.

But Hoki shakes his head, while frowning. That had been his first theory, and he had discarded it when he thought deeply about it. He looked at the chestnut behind him as his footsteps echoed in the tunnel.

"Leaving Kawaki behind wouldn't be an option; Not for the seventh." Taketori gives Boruto a withering look, and in turn, Sarada alike. "None of the Hokage that are alive, I think. Kawaki is our age, and our evacuation was prioritized. If he survived, his name was already written on the list of survivors. And Eida must know that, isn't Kawaki practically Son of the Seventh?, she received him in her house, of course he will survive. In the most optimal case, it would be Eida who would ask to be saved as well."

"There we would return again to the same point." Renga, his Friend, approaches his side. Because of his height, close to Iwabee's, many who could, had to look up above their heads to see him in the face. "Why would Shikamaru-san and the others allow it? No one knows his true power! Doesn't that make her a danger? If they really took her into account to weaken Code, then why summon her away from us? Nothing would help us more than his technique!"

"Omnipresence..." Tsuru murmurs, a hint of wonder in his serious tone. "The ability to be everywhere without moving a muscle... It would have served us a lot earlier."

"What if your skill doesn't work here?"

A little voice made them all stop in their tracks, and turn around. The great old woman was a few seconds late, and out of curiosity, she raised the torch to see the person hiding at the back of the group.

Namida, the one who used to wear an orange sweater, became smaller instead. She had no idea how she should react now that everyone had their attention on her, who had launched a theory, and that she had to clarify it as everyone else did.

He gathered courage, and taking a breath through his nose, he spoke.

"T-The Big Granny mentioned something before, N-No?, This... birth order, the C-Punishments of time..."

"The terms of the Parchment; The price to be paid by the refugees of this one."

The person to clarify Namida's point was, as expected, the Great Old Woman. The woman was still, with the torch raised; He did not have the initiative to explore Namida's theory, as it would allow him to explain himself.

The girl had asked several fearful questions throughout her stay, she wanted to see how she unraveled her own theory.

"T-That!" Namida nods strongly. Everyone opens their eyes, with more surprise than surprise.

The brunette clenched her fists in front of her chest, and raised and lowered them to encourage herself.

"I started to think a little about that issue... The 'Terms for Refugees' are like 'Obligations' that we have to fulfill in exchange for living here. W-Well, during all our exercises, we started from Iwabee-kun to the youngest of us, and Mirai-san, for her part..."

The Old Woman was as serene as possible at the mention of the red-eyed black-haired woman. He had escaped the constant questioning regarding Mirai by a simple lie: 'Mirai is training on his end, and since he is older, he must not mix with you when he uses Chakra.'

He assumed that Namida was going to rescue his theory with that point, which, although it was a lie that the Sarutobi was being prepared, did not hide the truth of the conditions.

It was true that the basic condition of the scroll, by default, had to be 'The correct use of the Chakra in its most detailed state'. Most of the conditions were set by the covenanters, and it was not possible to know explicitly the other conditions.

"What I am trying to say is that, according to Grandma, we cannot freely abuse the Chakra since we are below the limit of years that separates this time from ours." Suzumeno explains. There was no hesitation in his being, and he sucked his lips to pronounce the words well tremblingly. "E-Eida-san... Isn't she the same age as Mirai-san, she may be at the age limit, but she's still a refugee... Could it be possible that she still can't be able to use her Omnipresent eye? Just like Mirai-san can't abuse the use of her own Chakra?"

A deathly silence flooded the tunnel.

The grandmother was imperturbable, with her face far from expressing anything thanks to the difficulty that the wrinkles added to read one. The other children saw the pigtailed chestnut, which closed and opened its hands while they were seen.

Namida herself was here, but her mind lay beyond, thinking deeply about her theory with deep shyness. She wasn't a Chunin, so she didn't feel fit to give such a serious opinion.

And the silence only made it heavier for her.

Metal Lee was the most surprised of all. The others were puzzled, and it seemed that each one kept Namida's words to analyze for themselves.

The bowl-haired man watched the girl who timidly saw her hands, with her eyes wide open and her eyebrows furrowing; It was unknown exactly if what he felt was sadness or surprise.

He looked at the profile of the girl with the small mole, ready to believe what he was about to think. But the voice of his partner, Denki, stopped him at the peak moment.

"The adults wanted us to arrive with the Great Grandmother as soon as possible." Says the one with glasses, thoughtful. He crossed his arms, then grabbed his chin as he rambled. "Eida, without any power, would only delay us. And what's worse, we can't make use of Chakra around her if she's around, and she can't walk freely, unprotected with her brother... And if your brother is also below the limits, like us... Then he is also an Unusable Refugee!"

"H-Hey, hey... Watch your words, knowing that I am also entering that boat, makes me feel hurt." Iwabee reproaches him, frowning next to him.

Denki gives him an embarrassed look, but he doesn't smile. She had the spot that Namida left illuminated, on the tip of her tongue, and she didn't want to let it fade into her head.

"It is in their interest to be far from us, so they fulfill the conditions of the Parchment, between the two of them." Reveal. Surprisingly, the old woman also opens her mouth slightly when visualizing the idea. "I can't come to such a hasty conclusion, but I have two ideas that may be your motives."

As Denki said this, making the number '2' with the index and middle fingers of his right hand, Boruto and Sarada turned around with their eyes focused on the four eyes.

Mitsuki, strangely, frowned at the thought of an ulterior motive Eida has, which could end with her friends getting hurt.

"The first is the simplest, and to my chagrin... the most likely."

Denki grimaces, swallowing. His voice echoed in the tunnel, and the light of the torch formed dancing shadows on the surviving lenses of his glasses.

"Eida-san decided to go on her own in search of Kawaki-kun, and she could only use her eye to look for him, if he moved away from us, who are under the age limit. Knowing the conditions, Eida took her brother with her, as fulfilling the condition between the two would not cause strong waves if it was just them in secret."

Doushu made a sound in understanding, backed up by her companions.

"And what is the second?" asks the Genin.

Denki waits a second, looking seriously at the companions who were looking him straight ahead. Those behind him felt the assurance of his future words just by watching their shoulders tighten.

"May Eida-san have something planned with Shikamaru-san, to help us. And it was not convenient for him to remain with us." He said. "And if I'm lucky, it may be likely that I don't want to just go in search of Kawaki-kun. Come on, think about it a bit, Boruto-kun."

His blond friend straightened up, a drop of cold sweat sliding down his temple. He hoped he wouldn't have the answer in his face without realizing it himself.

Denki moved closer to him, and although he spoke in a whisper, to calm the order of his thoughts, the others heard him clearly.

"How is it that Eida-san didn't look for Kawaki-kun on her own from the beginning, having an ally as strong as her brother and herself?"

Denki questions rhetorically. The serene look reflected in his eyes the determination with which his Sensei had sacrificed himself.

"Beyond the shame, he could have done it; She was not allied with Kara, and it was in Konoha's interest to have her as an ally. Why wouldn't he do it now, when Kawaki-kun is probably hanging around alone, with people who fear him?"

Boruto took a while to grasp the idea, as in his head it was the opposite: Eida had the freedom to go after Kawaki, now that people didn't protect him as 'The New Son of the Seventh'. It was the most logical thing to do, and his friend treated it as a novelty. However, he seemed to be wrong, because Denki exclaimed to be heard by everyone.

"It's not that I don't want to!" He can't!" Reveal.

Denki used the index fingers of his hands to simulate the separation of two nuclei by separating the fingers from each other.

"He's sixteen years old, just the exact time we were rewinded. He can use the Chakra and its techniques, but with limitations, since the Scroll will punish you with 'Waves that will be returned to you'. She moved away from us to have more freedom of use, she and her brother; They didn't want to be tied down to having to move with us in tune, and Daemon is younger than everyone, so it doesn't suit him if he wants to protect his sister."

Behind him, El Ino-Shika-Chou listened attentively, looking for a way to keep up with the one Kaminarimon. Shikadai, on the other hand, did not lose sight of the four eyes, and left his own analysis to himself to adapt.

"This is where the thing loses meaning." Denki says. The great Granny came over to illuminate them better. Walking alone would cause Denki to lose inspiration, and his eyes were on her. Questions were coming. "The phenomenon in the sky is very rare... taking into account what Sarada-san said, and Boruto-kun's experiences, Eida-san has, like his brother, DNA of a god who is no longer there. But it is exactly those same gods who are linked to the moon, always aiming at our planet. Since Boruto-kun is clearly not responsible, and Kawaki-kun has no similar abilities, it is only fair to hold Eida-san responsible without speculation."

"Hey, where do you want to go?" Hoki puts a hand on his shoulder. Until now, Denki hadn't revealed anything, and had only concluded by a vague rambling earlier. "We don't know Eida's technique, we only take it into account by elimination."

Denki's eyes did not lose the seriousness with which they emphasized his words. He shifted his gaze from Hoki, to The Great Elder at a speed slow enough to tense anyone.

"That's where you come in." He says to her.

The woman only shows a silence, in doubt.

Denki opens his hands to explain himself.

"During our entire training, Iwabee-kun was the one who had the most freedom with the use of his techniques, so to speak." He says. His expression furrows. "But Iwabee-kun, he never came up with techniques that needed more Chakra than usual while we were with him, because he would monopolize us and could hurt us; Because the Parchment would count it as a violation of the rules. And sometimes, even he could not go further; It was as if he had a limiter in his system. It is likely that he did not want to disturb Kawaki-kun, as he is less than the limit."

The dark-haired man panted beside him. Nerves ran through his face as he recalled those moments.

Iwabee normally used her Chakra in training, without abusing it, following the old woman's guidelines so as not to hurt her companions and bother them. But there were times when it was impossible for him to make use of giant techniques, such as creating rocks the size of the ceiling of the large underground room.

The Elder explained to him the differences between 'Being Punished by the Scroll' and the 'Limitations' of the Scroll.

Being punished, obviously, came if you misused your Chakra, breaching the parchment's guidelines. But since they are dictated by the covenanters, the old woman was guided by the basic guidelines: Disorder the grouping, Use the Chakra to corrupt the past.

Alternatively, the Limitations of the Scroll were carried out individually, following the same 'Order' rule: The person himself may not use a large amount of Chakra in excess of that allowed by the scroll; It divided equally the use of Chakra to be used, but it did not literally subtract Chakra from the people in question.

In other words, if the person exceeded his limit, even without disordering a huge group of Chakra, he would be punished with internal flames; He would feel his body burning, and he wouldn't move for a while.

Denki took these two concepts, and shot Boruto a look.

"Why take the risk of getting hurt and being discovered? Why turn away from us, when she could have explained everything to us herself?" Denki pursed his lips. "We all have Chakra, it is something that identifies us as living beings. But I know that Eida-san is not a Shinobi... he does not know how to use the Chakra. She only uses her abilities inherited by the DNA with which she was created."

" Ōtsutsuki abilities." Sarada whispers, her eyes open.

Mitsuki looks at her, and she speculates anxiously in silence.

"The scroll prioritizes the proper use of the Chakra in the past, and punishes us for them... If Eida was responsible for the Phenomenon, then... She cannot be punished if there was no Chakra involved!"

Almost at the end, Sarada realized a fatal mistake, and muttered reluctantly.

"But it's silly, the Ōtsutsuki have higher chakra than ours. Perhaps Eida makes use of it through her eye, and thus carries out her technique."

"But that doesn't quite explain the sky." Mitsuki comments.

"I can answer that."

Denki walks a few steps forward, and stares at the great old woman with determination in her eyes. The boy was in a cold sweat when an idea crossed his mind, but he swallowed hard to gain courage and reach the end of his speculation. The Old Woman's mouth was half open when she was suspicious.

"When I mentioned that Eida-san wasn't a Shinobi, and that she didn't know how to use the Chakra, I meant that she doesn't know how to use the Chakra as one." He says.

A sepulchral silence left interest in sight.

"The scroll divides equally the amount allowed to use, of course, it does not take away Chakra, it only limits us to use everything. But what if Eida-san had a special case? And if that's why he went with his brother, away from us, when he was with him, the scroll 'Divides' equally the use... of course, they both have the DNA of a god, who surpasses us all in Chakra. Probably the Scroll bases the division of use by ITS power levels. Which means..."

"That Eida could have done it." Boruto lets out the final reveal. His eyes were staring blankly, he hadn't crossed paths that there was a way to outwit the scroll. "E-Eida if she could... And if it was like that...!"

"Then the one who has the most power of both is his Brother." The Great Elder finally speaks. The revelation leaves them all perplexed, especially because of the imperturbability in the woman's countenance, which seemed more involved and interested in the subject in question. "If with the equal division of use, that girl could make that celestial scandal, I don't want to imagine how much power that pair of brothers will have."

"T-Then Eida-san can use big techniques?!" Namida trembles from her place.

The Old Woman raises the torch, and looks seriously at the large group of children who were speculating. The little time they spent with her was enough to know when questions had to be silenced.

"You can use them, yes. But as a refugee, she can only do so when she is alone with her brother; That is why he separated from you. The sum of their small Chakras would cause an imbalance, and the one with 'More Power' would be forced to reduce it." The Old Woman pauses. "But there's something that has left me uneasy for a long time..."

"E-eh?" Denki drops his serene mask, and now looks genuinely worried.

"What's going on, Grandma?" Boruto asks, seriously. His eyebrows furrowed in a grimace of anxious expectation.

The Great Grandmother put one hand behind her back, while holding the torch with the other, while hunching over.

"Even if she circumvented the rules of the scroll in some way, it's still a high risk." She says. "'Use the Chakra to corrupt the Past', that is one of the basic guidelines that the parchment follows to punish the person. I don't understand why I would use something so big, that hurts you, and draws the attention of people from the past; There he is already breaking some rules, and may even come close to the promise made between Pactantes, not to hurt the allies of the other party."

The mention of the 'Promise' did not surprise them. They had heard of it in one of their many lessons with the great old woman, when she taught them not to provoke the punishments of the parchment, because they did not know the details of the mysterious promise.

"The only explanation I can find for that little girl to take so much liberty, and adding to the mysticism that revolves around her, according to what they mention... I can only point her out as someone extremely close to parchment; A person who witnessed his execution."

More than one stifled a gasp.

"Do you think that... Eida opened the Scroll along with the adults of Konoha?" Boruto asks. All his friends crowded with him as he approached the face of the Great Old Woman, in anxious surprise. "Can she have any idea why all this happened, and the conditions of the Parchment?! Do you think so?!"

"Ohoho... I don't just believe that." says the Old Woman. Her giggle was not friendly or affectionate, but rather a mockery of circumstances.

The children opened their eyes, confused. The woman, with her wrinkles covering his eyes, opened them, showing the grayish hue in them due to old age. In that instant, they felt that it didn't mean anything good.

"I fervently believe that in order for that girl to act in secrecy, she will be loose in past lands in a supposed search for a boy; Knowing how dangerous it would be to his own safety, and letting out a power of that magnitude with dense nonchalance, suggests one thing."

Boruto and the others tensed up when the old woman lowered the torch, and looked up; Shadows ruled his wrinkled, frowning face.

"That girl... she is not only a Refugee from the Parchment obeying the Parchment; It can also be someone who knows the exact limitations of it... A Covenanter."
