Capítulo 52: The Campsite
Hedrick dragged the young man by his hair as he almost cried in pain. The devil's son was really at scary compare to what one had to expect. I curse you to fail the test and suffer horribly. All the young man could do was curse Hedrick inwardly. Who had the guts to openly say that. Even if one had them, he or she would say it to someone else but not this person before me. Back in the bandit base, the bandits evenly shared the little remaining wealth amongst themselves and soon disbanded. As for Len and Lau, together with the few bandits that were loyal to the faction decided to head to the Scorpion Organization and try their luck.
Two kilometers south of the base, was Hedrick as he stood with a bow in his hand and arrows beside him. Lighting up the arrow heads with fire, Hedrick fired into the bandit base with the arrows at specific points.
Loud explosions filled the area, causing the bandits to turn around only to see a large fire at their former home. Bitterness filled their hearts as they vowed to get stronger and return the humiliation they suffered today.

A man that looked to be fifty or sixty in age was seated in his study when a guard reported a situation.
" Sir, the bandit base had been burnt down to ashes."
" What did you find?"
" Many bodies were reduced to ashes. There are traces of our gun powder."
" Okay, I get it."
" Yes sir!" with a bow, the man moved backwards and turned around to leave.
A shadow appeared behind the man a moment after the guard had left.
" What have you found?"
" The gun powder was given to a young boy around sixteen to seventeen by your brother in exchange for information.The young boy knows about the Blood Well project. My investigation show he's from Mentrol School and his name is Hedrick. He's a first year and other than that, there's no more information about him. I think we need to be extra careful when dealing with him."
" How many people do you think destroyed the camp?"
" Our investigation can bring out that report. There are no traces left behind. It was perfectly cleared."
" Okay, I see. I know what to do next."
On hearing that, the shadow disappeared without trace.
" Are you a friend or a foe?How come you know much about us but we know almost nothing about you. It's like the information we have about you was intentionally left behind by you."
" What exactly are you planning?What is your aim?"
The man muttered to himself as he moved to the chess board ad he moved the knight and removed the Bishop.
Looking at the base being burnt, Hedrick's eyes glowed as tears appeared in them. With a sigh, he cleared them and then smiled. From a distance, Green was slightly taken aback by the incident. Which person cried after killing and then smiled.
He then move towards the cave where Green had been waiting for him. On entering the cave, Hedrick dragged the young man onto the cave wall. With a wave of his hand, two figures appeared as they were tied.
" They are safe. You can have them but don't forget our agreement. Red belt Pavilion on this same date next month."
Green appeared as she untied the two leaders and teleported them away.
" Let's continue with out game."
" What's your name?"
(No answer)
Seeing that there was no answer coming out, Hedrick pulled out two daggers and stuck them half way into his thighs.
" What's your name?"
(No answer)
With his foot, Hedrick stepped onto the daggers causing the young man to almost cry.
" What's your name?"
" Fang Liek"
" That's better. We you can do it that, maybe that old man can treat you and prevent you from being a cripple."
On hearing the word cripple,Liek's face turned red with horror. The word cripple was not new to him. He had seen many students get crippled as they practiced, others got crippled when having spars and when taking missions. A cripple was no different from an ordinary person.
As for the next questions, Liek answered them without hesitation. With a satisfied look, Hedrick moved towards Liek's back and pressed the emergency button on his wrist watch.
" As a messenger chosen by the heavens,help me deliver a message to the old man.He dares to play silly and cheap tricks on his little one before you. I will make his daughter my satisfaction."
After saying that, Hedrick extended his hand as the grey mist covered Liek's face knocking him out. On waking up, he was in bed covered with sheets. Looking around,he realized he was on his room.
' Was it just a dream?If it was a dream then it was really terrifying. I would rather meet, drink and eat with the devil than that demon.' thought Liek.
' I almost forgot, I have to supervise a first year that is on a dark mission.I have to hurry up before it's too late.'
Putting on his shoes and dressing in blue robes, Liek quickly headed out of his house. As he walked passed some of the students, most of the looked at him with weird expressions while some even laughed as they whispered to each other.
Not caring much about them, Liek headed for the Rules Regulatory Office where his teacher and master, Elder Wen resided.
" Disciple greets master."
" Oh... seems you got better."
" Master, I had a bad dream."
" Aaa... Can you tell me about it.I have studied sixty nine books of astronomy and divination." Not caring much about what Elder Wen had said, Liek began to narrate the dream he had had.
" He also then told me to deliver to you a message." As Liek was narrating, Rita entered the room.
" Oh senior brother Fang, you got better. I nearly thought that devil's son was going to kill you.Thankfully he didn't cross the line."
