Capítulo 19: strange feeling
Jade had a sleepless night at the thought that she would meet her family again. Though not related by blood, Jade loved each one of them and now that she would get to see them the day that followed she was so ecstatic. It would be easier for her to run away from the king when they would be at Mrs Lawrence'house. She thought.

On the other side of the palace, in queen Elisa's room. The old woman sat on a beautiful silver chair while holding a glass in which she kept on taking small sips. After some minutes, her son came into her room with a concerned look on his face. "Mother are you alright?" He asked as he closed the door behind him and walked up to his mother who got up from her seat and put the glass at the table. "How do you expect me to be okay Levin? That bastard humiliated me in front of everyone including the servants. Once we get hold of that crown, he will curse the day he came into this palace. I will kill him with my own bare hands." Elisa said angrily while gritting her teeth.
"When do we execute our plans because he is also getting onto my last nerve. I'm the rightful heir and yet I did not get what was rightfully mine. Just tell me what should be done and I will do it mother." "Levin's mother leisurely walked across the room with his silky robe swiped the white floors with her lips set into a thin line. "The crown prince of Deerah is very interested in Celine. Once we marry her off to him, we can ask for a favour from his father and if he will assist us with his army, that would be more than enough from us because the king of Seinx offered to help us and since they use magic there, it would be easy for us to eliminate Alvin without struggling. He thinks that he is the smartest but he will be shocked to see my face before he finally dies. By the way how much money have you earned from that school. We will need it." Elisa said with a cunning smile.
"We have saved up almost thirty thousand gold coins but I don't think we can rely on the school money any longer. Alvin appointed a new person who will be in charge of the school treasury and also rumours have it that Joseph was killed." Levin's words made Elisa angry but she tried to control it. "We need to act quickly before he finds out about our plan. Go and get rest dear we will talk about this some other time."
As Levin walked to his room, he did not realize that there was someone behind the pillar who had listened to what he and his mother were talking about.

Albert and Alvin sat in the study room. "So that woman thinks that she can get assistance from the elves? Those are the last creatures she should rely on. They only listen to one person and you know who I'm talking about, so if she was promised anything by them she should get ready to be disappointed. And about Celine's marriage, She does not like that prince. She is the only person I genuinely care about in this family, so I will make sure she gets married to who she wants to marry. That woman would even sacrifice her own children so that she could ascend back to power but that will never happen." Alvin said to Albert.
"About the girl, what are your plans Alvin. It's still not too late to change your mind before you fall so deep." Albert brought up the delicate topic. "I fell for her deeply the first day I met her. So it's already too late to tell me that. I don't care about the consequences but trust me, I will make the best out of what I will get. Losing her right now means losing myself too. She is my mate and matter how many times we will talk about this, I will not change my mind and tomorrow I will be visiting her family at the time of the afternoon." "Okay if that's what you want, I will not try to change your mind. Have a good night."With those words Albert walked out of the room in which Alvin did not stay there for long and stepped out of the room afterwards.

Alvin walked in the garden under the moonlight while looking at the spring flowers that had bloomed beautifully. He was now living a life that not even once did he think he would ever have and yet with all the luxury and money, he did not feel satisfied until Jade showed up into his life. He would do everything to win her heart and even if they won't live long he would love her until their time comes.
As he continued to walk in the garden he lifted his hand that was tightened into a fist towards the moon and the ring that he put in his middle finger glowed. Gloria, I need to talk to you. Within a split, a woman who wore blue clothes and jewelry appeared out of nowhere. "What is it Alvin that could not have waited tomorrow?" The woman with a silky black hair asked. "It's about the curse that you told me about. "You already found your mate." She asked a question that seemed to be a statement. "Can my punishment be uplifted?" Alvin asked and at the same time he started walking. "No, what was said cannot be changed and you took a life of a king. I don't think anyone can help you with that. Just be ready with what is going to come because you can't bring back the life you took." As they continued to walk, Gloria stopped abruptly. "Are you okay?" Alvin who turned around asked. "I'm fine, it's just that I feel a little strange. As if a part of me...Anyway I should get going." With those words, Gloria disappeared as if she was never there leaving Alvin.
