Blake and Gabriel stared at the old man who looked shattered beyond words.

By the looks of things, if anyone witnesses this scene it would be captured as though two teens had assaulted an old man.

Who knows how many years it had taken him to reach the Transcendent rank. Normally, it should be very impossible for anyone except gods to shatter souls.

But, Gabriel was someone who's cultivation started with souls...

So the minute his abilities merged, it formed a strange but powerful weapon that destroys soul cores.

The exact same way the higher gods destroyed their souls in order to resculpt it.

A once Transcendent is now a dormant.

What stunned Blake and Gabriel is that, this same man was absorbing essence to reform his soul.

He didn't fear that they would kill him.

"How presumptuous of you to still absorb energy even after fallen to a pathetic state." Blake said, his tone laced with chills.
