Capítulo 66: Law and Order

Hugo was being tried in court. One was for the destruction of public property and another was for murder; he was being tried for killing Cluez.

"How do you plead to the first allegation?" The judge boomed, smashing his large gavel on the table.

"Guilty!"

The verdict came not long after. It was a Skydancer that acted as Judge. It was honestly not surprising. What was surprising was the fact that Hugo knew him.

"The jury declares you guilty! You are sentenced to two weeks of community service which in this case based on your status is obligatory monster hunting!"

Hugo wasn't uncomfortable with the verdict as much as he was with the shackles tying him up. They brought back unwanted memories.

"How do you plead to the second allegation, Black Knight?" The judge asked again. Hugo must have drifted off into thought.

"I plead not guilty!" he yelled.
