For the next few days, Hugo buried himself knee-deep in paperwork and experimentation. Many people immediately noted his more tired look compared to what they were used to seeing.

He had now completely blended in with the other office jockeys. Though, they would argue that they weren't really office jockeys (which they weren't).

The regular hunts for Plague Monsters and patrols still took place, but Plague Hybrids were still off-limits for the better portion of the S-rank Dancers.

Hugo hardly had any sort of regard for that information, seeing as he was now working from behind a desk temporarily.

"The Hunting Party is going out. Are you going to say goodbye to your friends, you know, just in case?" Surgeon popped in to ask Hugo, though he knew the answer.

"No need for that. They'll survive. Alpha2 and Iron Alchemist are there." Hugo absent-mindedly commented, staring at the papers in front of him.
