Capítulo 109: 'Lily'

Lucas glanced at the holes and got a glimpse of the confessor's clothing color— she was wearing a brown furry jacket.

"My child, killing someone is a sin. It was also written on the 10 commandments of God. Now, if you think you are helping that person, you're actually wrong. You were just protecting that person's earthly body and you let that person's soul rot." Lucas changed his sitting position. "I can't order you to do anything because it might be against your will, so I will just tell you that everything is in your hands. What do you think is the right thing to do, my child? The answer is in you."

The confessor was silent for a moment. "Father... I am someone unfamiliar to you for now and your church was way too far from my place."

Lucas was baffled. Hence, he just waited to finish what she would say.

"So, father. Can I ask for a favor?"

Lucas was silent. Favor? Should he accept it?

Lucas took a faint sigh. "Speak, my child."
