From my new status, there are several new abilities I get:
[+Plant Transplantation] The ability to transplant different parts of a plant to combine their individual characteristics.
[Plant Symbiosis] The ability for the farmer to get its grown plant abilities and allow plants grown by farmers to also have the user ability.
[Plant Mutation] The ability to mutate a plant's ability to get its derivation ability.
[Lightning Charge] Change mana into electricity or electrical charge for the user's own uses.
[+Lightning Clad] Clad the lightning charge into the user's body.
[+Lightning bolt] Shoot the lightning charge into a bolt of lightning.
After looking through all my new skills, I notice there is a difference between my transformation and Hajime Transformation. Hajime only got [Lightning Clad] while I got his skill as a derivative of my [Lightning charge] ability along with another derivative skill [+Lightning Bolt]. This might be due to the inherently different method of obtaining the ability which results in a variation of obtained skills.
'Well, I will not complain about it as I got a better skill and stats enchantment with less pain and effort. In fact, it was a blessing that I don't get old with white hair or become bald.'
Since the method is effective for the wolf, I do the same with the Behemoth's meat I got. From the extraction, I get the skill [Fire manipulation] and [Mana Manipulation] derivative skill; [+Mana Vibration and Shock].
Apparently, the roar the Behemoth uses to stun us multiple times is actually an advanced use of mana manipulation that allows the user to vibrate the mana that it sends in high frequency. This makes the opponent in front of the roar experience fear, stun, and even unable to use magic for a short period of time due to mana turbulence.
After that, I continued my journey as I saw some Kicking rabbits. They are masters of kicking techniques which are more dangerous than the wolf due to their speed. I need to lay some traps first as they are currently still dangerous for me.
My method for luring it is through the use of carrots as apparently they still have DNA for liking carrots even after evolving in this hell hole. Luring it was easier than I thought it would be! This is probably due to the fact how tasty my carrot is. After all, after finding what is presumably a god-like food in this hellhole where it can't find anything delicious or the like, they are probably already out of their mind.
After luring it successfully, I lead it into the trap which is a room enclosed in spikes, poisons, and gun turrets. The guns are different from the Pea air guns I made before. I don't even use them at all as it is too weak for the level of monsters in this place. On the other hand, I don't want to show them to the kingdom's soldiers as I will only become a gun factory for them.
The air pressure gun limitation is very apparent as its maximum firepower is only as powerful as Earth's current level of technology of a semi-auto-fired assault rifle bullet. I previously couldn't use chemical explosions due to the bullet case limitation as the plant's bark/wood is not powerful enough to withstand gunpowder explosion.
However, now it is different. I use the Blazing tree bark to make the whole body of the gun and coat it in metal epidermis from a metal plant I found. This is all thanks to my new skill [+Plant Transplantation] which allows me to do this which was impossible before.
This arrangement will be able to withstand gunpowder's explosions. Not only that, its hardness is probably around 7.2/10 which is almost as strong as Taur stone (8/10 hardness) which Hajime uses to build his Donner(revolver).
Besides the change from air pressure propulsion to chemical propulsion, I also copy paste Hajime in making it a hybrid with electromagnetic propulsion. First, I use [+Plant Transplantation] to incorporate plants with many metal bark/skin into the bullet. This makes it possible for me to use [Plant Symbiosis] to incorporate [Lightning Charge] and its derivative skills into my gun.
However, unlike Hajime, I make it a true Railgun. Apparently, the author and illustrator mixed up the differences between Railgun and a Coilgun which is also called a Gauss rifle. The principle is almost the same except that the Coil gun only has a single coil in its barrel while Railgun has 2 or more since it needs at least 2 to create a track or 'rails'.
The Coil gun or Gauss rifle is the same as what Hajime uses in his revolver, the Gun only consists of a single coil of wire where electricity will flow. The principle of this type of electromagnetically accelerated gun runs using the principle of Alternating current. As the currents run through the coil, the electromagnetic field will attract the bullet toward the center of the coil. As it accelerates the bullet halfway, the current will reverse as the bullet has been turned into a magnet making the poles now to be the same. This results in the bullet being propelled out as the electromagnetic field now repulses the bullet outward.
The Railgun works on a different principle. It doesn't use alternating current but direct currents. This works first by accumulating charge in a huge capacitor(basically a battery) that the gun has, then releasing all the electric charge on the 2 or more coils at once in a timespan of milliseconds which has been arranged to give out a repulsive force to the bullet. This principle is similar to how lightning works where it accumulates charge in the clouds then when it stores enough of its negative charge, it will strike the place with the highest positive charge. This might be one of the reasons why Hajime calls it a Railgun.
Each of these arrangements has its own advantages and disadvantages. Coil gun/Gauss rifle works best in auto-fire or continuous shooting as it doesn't need to accumulate charge. However, its power is relatively weaker than a railgun. Railguns on the other hand are more powerful but can't be shot continuously since they need to accumulate charge. This is the reason they are called Gauss 'rifle' and Railgun 'Sniper or cannon'
Anyways, with the rabbits lured, I proceed to kill it and extract its ability too. Although, I need to disappoint myself as I still have the same skill that Hajime got which is [Divine step] along with its derivative ability. Even though there is no additional skill, this skill is still pretty much OP as even Hajime uses it until the late stage for his movement ability.
With the wolf and rabbit sort out I can finally hunt for the boss on this floor. However, before even starting, I suddenly hear a scream from a place close to the location of the Divinity crystal.
"Uwaaa-" [Ah!]
After the scream kept getting farther away, I could hear a sharp wind blow before another scream could be heard from that location.
"Ahhhhhhh!!!!"
The shriek echoed in the passage. This shriek is probably coming from Hajime, who has his left arm chopped off from his body.
'Looks like you will still be a one-hand chuuni like the one called FullMetal Alchemist in the future. Well, I finally found you o' Mr. Polar Bear'
I chuckled as I thought of this reference. I quickly go toward the location of the scream as I finally chance upon a bloody one-armed boy who is facing the dungeon wall while exclaiming in a loud voice.
"Ahhhh–! "Transmute"! "Transmute"! "Transmute"!"
Pancing from the monster that was gradually getting closer, Hajime started to continuously cast his [Transmutation] skill and delved deeper into the wall. He did not even bother to look back. Recklessly he repeated the magic and advanced with a crawl. All his pains or any other thoughts were put in the backseat. Mana was consumed over and over again as his survival instinct had control over him.
On the other hand, the Bear could only be overwhelmed with anger from losing a prey as it roar before sniffing and finding my presence.
"Guruaa!!"
It was a roar of delight as it found another prey before its eyes standing in front of him while not moving or escaping like the other prey. However, unknown to him, the prey in front of him is different from the one that escaped as this individual came in front of him not as a prey but as a hunter.
Facing the roar of the bear that found me, I immediately deploy my arrangement I already made before when the Bear still focuses on Hajime. Although I don't really like this, it seems Hajime is a very good bait and distraction for this monster.
"[Evergreen Vida Valtoria] !!!"
With my shout, vines with red and grey color immediately sprang out from the dungeon floor as it entangled the bear from moving. The vine immediately releases its toxin and poison as one of the vines damages the right eye of the bear, losing its vision partially.
Seeing this, I immediately ran to the right side of him to go to his blindspot. I went to the back of the Bear before I aimed my newly created sniper rifle (no scope yet) with my past experience of creating a gun toward the left arm of the bear.
*Bang!*
The seed bullet coated in a metallic epidermis and accelerated through electromagnetic propulsion went through its front left arm and continued to penetrate to the dungeon wall. The bullet severed the front left arm of the Bear completely from its body as I immediately ordered the vine to retrieve the severed arm for a sample.
The bear, who now only has 3 limbs and one eye, is currently staring at me with hatred and anger using its only remaining eye as its remaining 3 limbs struggle to escape from my vine which has already been strengthened by me after I level up, making the strength of each vine way stronger than the wood I used to constrain the Behemoth.
With that out of the way, I need to wait for around 3 whole hours before it stops screaming (the bear) as the poison affects him and makes him sleep. This in fact is largely attributed to the wound I created that allows the poison to spread faster through its bloodstream. Without an open wound, I probably need to wait a whole day or longer from poisoning through inhalation.
With the Bear finally asleep, I can finally do my plan. This is not an important plan actually as I just did this to tease Hajime in the future. I first made an eyepatch around his head and eyes making the bear look like a pirate. After that, I made a prosthetic arm for its missing front left arm to accommodate him (only for decoration since I still cannot make one that can truly work). Now, I bet you know where this is going...
Yup! I just made it to be similar to future Hajime. I don't plan on killing the Bear as it serves as an important key for Hajime to solve the level when Hajime can't use his guns and lightning. I then finally finished my plan by writing a quote on its back using ink from a special kind of plant that is very difficult to clean off. As for those who are curious about the quotes, here it is.
"Give up on your dreams and die!"- Namrekca Ivel
With this prank finally finished, I then used Devil Fruit extraction on the bear's severed arm as I got [Wind Manipulation] before finding my way to the second floor.
