The receptionist said, "Because, Mr. An, you're no longer an employee of Shun-Ning Corporation."
An Yimin thought he had heard her wrong. "What did you say?"
The receptionist repeated, "Mr. An, you're no longer an employee of Shun-Ning Corporation. You can't go in. It's best you leave."
An Yimin couldn't believe it. "How can I not be an employee of Shun-Ning? The manager of our department had just called me to come over for work. Wait a minute, I'll ask the manager of our department."
He hurriedly looked through his phone records. However, before he could make the call, a teasing voice said, "Yo, let me see who it is. Isn't this An Yimin?"
An Yimin raised his head and saw a familiar figure. He quickly asked for help, "Manager Lin, the front desk just told me that I'm no longer an employee of shunning. Please tell her that there has been a mistake."
"Is there some sort of error? Should we get someone from I.T. up here?"
