"Wow... Sawyer, you're indeed a lazy investor. How can you not remember the companies you invest in?" Abigail asked, clearly amazed.
"Well, I don't care where I invest. I only care about performance, including whether the company employees where I invested are happy working there and how much dividends I receive annually. In that order of priority, of course," Sawyer grinned, tousling her hair affectionately.
Abigail narrowed her eyes at him for a few more seconds before expressing her thoughts.
"By the way, Sawyer, you promised me that you would invest in my company, right?" Abigail smiled when she saw him nod excitedly.
She continued, "Mr. Jones, I hope you won't forget about my small business and your promise to teach me how to manage it!"
"I won't forget it. I promise to pay extra attention to this investment—the kind of attention I have never given before," he replied with a smile, pulling her into his arms.
