Capítulo 10: A New Perspective?

"Finally we're here, that was such a long trip!" I said."It was let's go to the guild and collect our reward now." the girl in glasses said emotionlessly. "Do we have to? Can't we just go back to the inn and sleep, I'm exhausted!" Said the lazy girl"We can't we just barely are going to make it before the quest time runs out so let's go" Glasses girl said matter 'a factly.

"Anyway don't be so happy we don't have as much stamina as you Mr. Hero." Lazy girl said sarcastically.

(These 3 people are a B ranked adventuring party called the 'Shining Sword'. The first one was a human that was a self proclaimed Hero with a very main male character vibe named Ken . The second was a lazy half-Demi wolf girl named Kegawa. Lastly the third one was a elf girl with glasses named Garasu.

They had just comes back from a goblin nest subjugation quest that was ranked C+. They are tired and super late due to there being around 200 goblins making them very lucky to be alive and unscathed. The only reason they are alive is because Ken used his light magic to heal them all which gave them the ability to keep on fighting.)

I was also tired too so I said "let's do this quickly and then we can rest." "Good but I don't know about you and Garasu but I can't go to bed on a empty stomach." With that said we hurried down the street to the guild.

The adventurers guild was very big, basically the same size as a small mansion with people walking in and out at the regular. It would not be an exaggeration to say that it was the center of the entire commoners district both economically and literally.

We then walked in and went to the counter to receive our reward. When we got there the guild receptionist said while wearing a smile on her face " Welcome back from your quest do you have the proof of completion?" I then pulled out a goblin ear and placed it on the counter. This wasn't just any goblin but a goblin king that we found in the back of the cave from the quest.

When she saw it she picked it up and said "your proof has been accepted I will go get your reward." She then walked in to a room and came out with two gold coins and 6 silver coins. "Your proof has been accepted so here is your reward." She then handed it to me and we left.

After thinking for a second while walking I asked. "Do you think that the money was worth the quest?" "Nah there were way too many goblins, it should have been at least B ranked." Garasu replied. While we talked Kegawa just kept staring at the cafe which would provide the food and she so desperately wanted.

When we got there she practically asked for everything on the menu. Looks like we will be spending all our reward money tonight. After we ordered I decided to seal the deal of blowing all our money in less than 15 minutes of getting it by saying "Everyone all drinks on me!" Cheers rose from the cafe after we started eating.

After that we headed to the inn to finally get some rest after a long days work. Kegawa was in a daze from eating too much food and looked like a zombie including her horrid moans from stuffing herself silly.

While we were walking towards the inn we passed a alleyway which we payed no mind to. Then all of the sudden Kegawa snapped out of her food coma and quickly spun her head towards the alleyway, with her ears twisting left and right which I presumed was to pinpoint a sound. She has a better sense of smell and hearing than any of us so we waited for her to say something.

"There's people, a lot old them in the alleyway" she said. Now knowing of a possible threat I used my light magic to make a ball of light and launched it towards the alleyway to see whoever they were.

When the light ball hit its target it illuminated all the people that were their. There was about 30 people that based on there clothing weren't a really friendly bunch. That's when I noticed a certain face in the group of people. It was the leader of 'The Bone Knifes' a C+ group of bandits that meant that they were definitely up to no good.

When they realized that they were caught they rushed into a lit up building. This was the worst possible scenario as now they will have a hostage which will just make beating them harder. Not wanting to put anyone in there at risk I ran in while the others followed.

I was now outside the place that had a sign that said Kuishinbō Tavern. We then go out our weapons and prepared for a tough battle. We then rushed in to find a strange sight.

All the bandits that had previously ran in the tavern were all gone and a lone person stood behind a counter. It was a full-Demi Cat that was cleaning out a glass with a clothe rag.

"What would you like to order." He said to us.
