THIRD PERSON'S POV

Valencia was walking some distance when she heard a weird sound from the forest. Afraid that the rogue who had given her the pendant was back to meet her, she looked around, hoping it wasn't the case. 

"Hey, how do you think that girl would react if she comes to know the alpha is planning something like this?" 

She heard someone talking, and her brows furrowed. 

What girl? What alpha? 

What plotting was this person talking about? Was something going to happen tonight? 

Since she was a member of the council, it was her duty to ensure that the function of the birthday party of the council head's son went well. 

"She won't know a word. Our alpha made sure about it. Besides, isn't that woman who wants Alpha Maverick with us?" Another voice echoed.

Valencia's pupils dilated.

Wasn't that woman Cordelia? 

Does that mean she was here with ulterior motives in mind other than related to Alpha Maverick?
