Once DX hung up the call with his mother, he made his way to Kai Xin's apartment. He was sure that his mother would not try to do anything to Kai Xin. She might hate her but for the sake of her grandchild, she would not take anything drastic towards her.

When Kai An opened the door to let him in, he was surprised to see Sima Erden sitting on the couch when he walked into the house.

He felt as if he had seen the person before but he could not remember where or when. Since his purpose today was about something else, he did not bother to think too deeply about the matter.

After greeting An Qi Yan, he asked for pain relief pills and a cup of water.

As she was getting the stuff, Kai An asked, "Are you alright?"

"Just a little bit of headache..." answered DX before he placed the two pills into his mouth and drank the cup of warm water from An Qi Yan.
