Capítulo 64: The Grip of Fear

The group stood frozen as the beast savored Finn, with Linn in particular on the verge of breaking down at the sight of someone she had considered a friend being devoured gruesomely before her.

"This can't be happening!" she muttered, clawing at her mouth as she trembled uncontrollably.

Milo and Aria meanwhile just stood there, eyes wide as they watched everything unfold.

Looming high above, the creature remained eerily silent after its savage display. Its chest heaves with each slow, ominous breath, filling the air with a low, rumbling growl that vibrates the ground beneath its feet. It casts its eyes down and without warning, it sinks downward, disappearing into the shadow below the branch as if melding with darkness itself.

Their eyes widen in confusion and horror as the creature's form vanishes from sight, melting into the shadow.

"Where did it go?" Milo exclaimed, searching frantically.
