Capítulo 44: Raging Core

Kaleb lets out a series of painful groans and collapses to the ground. Mana begins visibly radiating from his body, just like it had done in the forest, forming a golden form of aura around his body.

"We don't have much time!" Victor declared, his expression grim.

"Clear that table and put Kaleb on it!" he commanded the guards.

With him now placed on the table herps open his shirt, exposing his chest. His veins bulged and glowed gold, like the aura that surrounded his body.

"Renna! I need you to use your rune magic. Draw a barrier around his mana core to stop the leakage."

Renna, seeing his current state, hesitates for a brief moment.

'Is this safe?'

She thought to herself as she watched the mana in his body begin to pulse violently.

But she brought herself back, shaking her head and steeling herself.

'No! That doesn't matter! Getting Victor blooming in my debt is worth it!'
