There were hundreds of mages who had come up on this octagonal stage, but not a single one of them had managed to wound Jordan. That was right, this man was Jordan, the examiner of Ground II.

Though Jordan had temporarily suppressed his sage mage power, a lot of applicants were still intimidated by him. Lucky for them, Jordan was mostly just blocking rather than attacking, so the applicants were able to breathe a little easier.
