"W-what do you mean?" I asked Francesca.

She used her hand to cover her face before she sat on the bed with a sigh.

"Come sit" she pat the bed and I went to sit next to her.

"I told you I once worked as a maid in another house before I came here, didn't I?" She said as she wiped her tears.

"Yes, you did" I nodded.

"I didn't leave the house because I wanted to, I was fired by my boss, more like kicked out" she scoffed 

"What happened?" I asked even though I could already get the story.

"I started working as a maid in the Kendrick's mansion three years ago. Our family was in dire need of money, I couldn't get a job so I took the opportunity when I got it," she started.
