Capítulo 9: Duel

seeing is believing, in the fire nation, one could even grow up in the ranks of the fire kingdom, if they slowly dueled one after the other, and succeeded in their win...

as such, i dueled every single 'talented fire bender' and 'weapons master' one by one and sometimes in large groups....

like such times were...

i stood as array of bodies seperated me from the on looking crowd...

many fire benders stood and took a position, firing off a large stream of fire from their fists...

crimson flames enveloped me, like a an explosion, mixed with fierce crimson lightning....

i did a few signs with my hand, and than...

spitting forth a massive balls of fire from my mouth, as i faced army, by my orders they were to hold nothing back...

massive balls of crimson flames, flew down like small meteors, down onto the army... creating a series of large explosions...

sending people aloft in the air...

than i wielded a simple training sword, dulled so as to not take any lives in this next gambit...

i charged forth, discreetly using the power of the wind, to increase my speed.... i stood upon the head of one of my soldiers, and forced him onto the ground, as another stream of fire was lurched my way... not willing to hit their comrades, i began to a series of attacks all around me, dancing left and right as i dodged their blows, and than slicing through them like a hot knife through butter... using my sword, i threw the blade towards one of them, and stole some guys duel blades, i sent a swath of great strikes of flame towards everyone around me... sending them flying...

this occured for a solid 15 minutes before they were all defeated.. my strength certefied... but the true duel was with Zhou Chen.... he was the general of this army, while i, the commander... but it wasnt done till i defeated Zhou Chen, the hammer of the fire nation....

i walked over the bodies, and we faced each other, as everyone watched, some injured, but not enough to be fatal... watched as they faced each other in combat....

discarding all weaponry we poised ourselves... and readied our wills for this battle...

than he readied his fist and struck forth, sending a massive stream of fire towards me... but i faced it head, slowly i generated a electrical current of crimson energy inside my body... turning it into lightning at my finger tips...

than... i pointed forth, aiming at the general... who became distraught as he saw the flare of lightning being pointed at him... immeadiatly ducking out of the way, a large stream of lightning cut through the blast of flames sent my way...

than i simply backhanded the flames that reached me, sending it aside where it simply dispersed....

just in that one exchange i showed my absolute dominance, even after beating sense into my legion of warriors...

i still had the ability, to beat a talented old battle veteren into such a state... "my turn~" i said so with a smile... i poised myself, placing one foot forward... i jumped, and twirled in the air, sending forth a massive wave of lightning flame, towards the old man...

he saw it, and heard of its properties so he immeadiatly reacted... bringing his hands together he sent forth a massive scream of flames and than made them explode... a trick he learned... i smiled at this... as i watched my lightning dispersed going in for close combat...

a myriad of moves took place as we intercepted each other...

his moves were refined, so were his old muscles at close... but above all he showed his experience... but that didnt matter, as i simply clad myself lightning, but he continued on, we shot off lightning at each other point blank, me being the source, as he couldnt bend it, like i could... and than the fight ended as i made a series of quick movements towards the joints of his body...

he flopped on the ground, as i shot off the lightning towards the sky... signifying the end of the end... of this exchange between me and my troops.
