The inheritance was hidden within a cave in a small mountain.

"Lord Azure Dragon, I am here to accept the trial," Yun Wuji said, gently releasing Yuechan as he stepped forward.

"Very good. It has been a very long time since a new challenger came," the Primordial Azure Dragon's voice echoed, resonating through the cave.

"Very long time? Why?" Yuechan asked, her curiosity piqued.

"A thousand years ago, one hundred twenty-nine challengers came here," the Primordial Azure Dragon explained. "But since then, two Flood Dragons, drawn by my aura, have remained here and kept anyone else from approaching. This has continued for a thousand years."

"You are indeed qualified to undergo the trial I left behind. If you can pass it, I will grant you three drops of Azure Dragon blood and allow you to possess the Dragon God's bloodline," the Primordial Azure Dragon's eyes fixed on Wuji as it spoke.

"However, despite your strength, the trial I left behind does not test merely the challenger's strength. It assesses innate talent, willpower, and determination. "I admire your determination and courage. Since you are ready, step into the gate of the trial grounds." As the Primordial Azure Dragon's voice faded, a blue light flickered on the rock wall before Yun Wuji. Soon, a teleportation formation, over two men in height, materialized.

The teleportation formation leads toward the trial grounds.

"Wait for me. I'll be back soon," he said, turning to Little Fairy and gently patting her head before walking toward the formation.

"Hmm~ Stay safe," she nodded with a sweet smile. Her strong faith in his abilities made her confident he would pass the trial.

Yun Wuji stepped into the formation, and as soon as he did, it disappeared with him.

He was teleported to a desolate highland. The landscape was dominated by steep mountains that rose sharply into the sea of clouds. This mountain range encircled the area, creating an inescapable and isolated land where only a fraction of the light managed to reach.

In the skies above, the Primordial Azure Dragon's voice echoed, "Welcome to the Dragon God's trial grounds. This trial consists of three stages. You are currently in the first stage. As the Primordial Azure Dragon's voice faded, two balls of dirt-yellow light flashed. When the light scattered, two figures appeared before Yun Wuji. They resembled ordinary humans but seemed to be carved from stone, their bodies unbelievably solid. Their heads were a mix of human and dragon features. Each held a stone spear in one hand and a stone shield in the other, their expressionless eyes fixed firmly on him.

The aura they possessed was at the third level of the Sky Profound Realm.

Yun Wuji raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Why are they so weak?" he wondered. He clearly remembered that in the novel, the monsters Yun Che faced during the Dragon God's trial were of equal strength to him.

However, just like his little brothers, the Stone Dragon General was incinerated the moment he stepped into the fire domain.
