Capítulo 35: Chapter 30: Frozen Cloud Asgard

Seeing Qingyue running towards himself, he stood up, ready to receive her into his arms. Qingyue reached Alex and hugged him tightly, burying her head into his chest. Alex also hugged her back and they stood still for a few seconds as they embraced each other deeply.

This had become a common occurrence for both of them during the past months. Both of them had let their hearts out to each other, though Alex had told her that there were some secrets that he was still not ready to share, but he loved her and that wasn't a lie.

Qingyue, though a bit saddened by hearing Alex still keeping secrets from her, still lightened up after hearing that he loved her and told him that he can keep those secrets only if he were to promise that he would reveal them them to her one day, and promise is what Alex did.

It may seem a bit unrealistic for Qingyue to trust and believe in Alex to others just because of promise, but to Qingyue, those words were exactly what she needed to hear, because around a month ago, she had awakened her Heart of Snow Glazed Glass.

With this, she could feel whether a person was lying or not, and Alex was speaking the truth when he told her that he had loved her, thus leading to Qingyue putting all her trust and love on him.

The awakening Heart of Snow Glazed Glass not only gave her the ability to discern the truth of words, but also increased her comprehension of the Eternal Frost Sovereign Art by many times.

Day by day as she continued to study the cultivation art, she got even more and more astonished by it. Even though she was currently a Spirit Profound Realm Cultivator, her comprehension of Ice Arts was at least equal to if not surpassed her master, Chu Yueli.

Qingyue then looked at Alex and said, "I have broken through to the 4th level of Spirit Profound Realm."

Alex smiled, he obviously sensed her breakthrough, but not wanting to disappoint her, he showed a smile as he said, "As expected of my genius Fiancee, breaking through several levels within just few months. I am proud of you."

Qingyue smiled like a child who was praised for finishing their meal and said, "Thank you!"

But then she pouted a bit and said, "But its nothing compared to you. Even after awakening the Heart of Snow Glazed Glass, I cannot be compared to you."

Alex smiled and said, "You do not have to compare yourself to me Qingyue. With your talent, you are definitely going to become a strong force in this universe."

Qingyue smiled after hearing Alex praise her talent. Of course, she had known this as Alex had told her this many times, but still hearing this again and again from Alex's mouth made her feel better and happy.

After talking and flirting a bit, they decided that it was time to settle some matters before going back to Floating Cloud City and those matters were related to Frozen Cloud Asgard.

Alex then activating the Divine Origin Grade concealment Array Formation on their training ground gave the place a quick last look. This place was where he and Qingyue had bonded together for the past two months and shared a lot of happy memories.

He could not let anyone come and ruin this, thus he had upgraded the level of the concealment Array to the Divine Origin grade. With this, except for Mu Bingyun and the Divine Beasts, no one else could mess around in this area.

Alex then enveloped Qingyue into his energy field and started to fly towards the Frozen Cloud Asgard with Qingyue guiding him with the path.

With his Emperor Realm Cultivation and the Thunder Arts, they had reached their target location within a few minutes.

Alex and Qingyue then landed on the snowy ground and stood there. Alex asked Qingyue,

"So, should I go and knock the door?"

Qingyue just slapped him on a his shoulder lightly for teasing her like this. To be honest, she was a bit conflicted about her sect and even her own master.

After feeling her emotions that had been bottled up inside her for so long, she now had come to resent her master a bit.

She had told her master about everything and had come to trust her and fully followed her advice regarding cultivation. She had thought that everything her master was doing was going to help her on her on her path of finding her mother.

But now that he thought back, she was truly naive to have ever believed all of that. Now that she had started to feel emotions deeply once again, she understood that her master had never cared for her goals at all.

All she ever told her was that her life's aim should be to become an Emperor Realm cultivator like the Palace Mistress and serve the sect with her life and protect her fellow sisters.

There wasn't anything wrong with all this as since she had joined the sect and was consuming their resources, it was her duty to do so. But, the problem was that her master had never taken her goals seriously and even tried multiple times to dissuade her from chasing them.

After a long discussion, Alex had suggested her to leave her sect and cut off with them completely. Qingyue, though wanted to do so but couldn't help but feel a bit guilty about this and told her that he would compensate them well. Thus, she agreed to leave the sect.

Today, they had come here to settle the matter of compensation and then return to the Floating Cloud City after that.

Alex, smiling after receiving her slap on his shoulder, released the pressure of his energy reserves.

Alex had hidden his cultivation aura and only let out his energy reserves pressure as he did not want to be underestimated by her sect as they also had two Emperor Profound Cultivators. Thus, he released the pressure of his energy reserves and made it seemed as if he was at the peak Sovereign Profound Realm.

Alex's method seemed to have worked as two women who seemed to be in their early thirties were coming towards them. Alex of course knew who these two women were.

They were the Palace Mistress and the Grand Palace Mistress of Frozen Cloud Asgard!
