It had been two weeks since Saibus and Trinity learned of the plot to extinguish the Wolf School. Both are currently at the League's headquarters in Novigrad. Saibus is in the Practice Hall with Desmond to see the progress everyone has made. Over the past few years, the two have become very good.
Desmond and Saibus are in the middle of a training fight when they are interrupted by a master assassin.
"Saibus, Desmond, the elders want to see you. Get to the Council Chamber ASAP.," declares the master assassin in a deep voice.
The two stop their fighting and look at each other wondering why the council requires their presence.
They, therefore, leave the Practice Hall for the Council Chamber. They arrive in front of the huge Council door, Saibus walks forward and knocks hard on the door to signal their presence.
"Come in." A deep, ancient voice echoes behind the door. Saibus recognizes the voice as that of Lars, the Vampire, and Head of the Council. He opens the door and enters the room, followed by Desmond.
The room hasn't changed since he came there years ago. The two come forward and stand up straight and wait for us to speak.
"Desmond, Saibus, the Council has requested your presence for you to speak about a mission of the utmost importance that you will undertake with your mentors. Your mission will be to accompany your mentors, Leonidas and Trinity, members of the Council of the League. Assassins in Kaer Morhen, Wolf School stronghold. You must perform this mission discreetly, plus it is urgent so I will let your mentors go deeper into the mission. But remember, this is a very important mission for the League. . " Lars says in a deep, serious voice he's not used to.
"Yes, elder." Desmond and Saibus respond in unison.
Leonidas and Trinity get up from their seats and leave the room with their apprentices.
"BOOM" the door slams shut as Saibus and Desmond follow their mentors in silence. Leonidas and Trinity are talking about something but they couldn't hear anything due to a silencing spell Trinity cast.
They eventually stop talking to each other and go their separate ways to prepare. Saibus follows Trinity and waits until they are out of town to start the discussion.
"What is the mission once we get to Kaer Morhen?" Saibus asks.
"We must show the evidence to the head of the school and help them find out who are the people who want to destroy the school and kill them while remaining as low profile as possible." Trinity answers.
Saibus reflects on the mission and says to himself that this mission will be very difficult to achieve for several reasons. First, the letter was about magicians who were in the school, and finding out who the traitors are without arousing suspicion will be difficult but not impossible. Then, the duration of the mission. The letter states that the massacre will occur in two years. It is unlikely that they have not prepared for this massacre for years and that they are in the final preparations. We must also find a reason to stay so long in Kaer Morhen without it being suspect especially with two members of the Council among us.
Saibus continues to reflect on the mission right up to the door of their house. They come in and get ready. Saibus takes his throwing weapons and twin swords, equipment to maintain his weapons and armor, a change of clothes, and some food. He also takes something to mark a portal to go to his laboratory. He goes down into the garden, puts his fingers in his mouth, and whistles.
"Kyak" a cry is heard from the forest and an eagle with a brown coat and black spots flies in the direction of Saibus. The eagle is Regiis, familiar with Saibus. Regiis lands on Saibus's shoulder and rubs himself against his head.
"I'm glad to see you too buddy but we don't have time to relax. We have to go to Kaer Morhen for an important mission." Saibus said to his companion.
"Kyak" Regiis glapes, he spreads his wings, flaps them, and soars and turns over the house to show that he is following them from the sky.
Saibus comes in and waits for Trinity in the living room. She goes out to prepare two minutes later in her full assassin outfit. Like all Council members, they each have a custom assassin outfit that matches their fighting styles.
Trinity mainly uses her two secret blades which are much longer than usual. They look more like two daggers. These blades are enchanted so that she can use her magic through them. She also uses throwing knives that are attached to the inside of her cloak, each enchanted by a return rune that causes them to teleport inside her cloak via a twin rune on the knife case.
Her appearance contrasts with her usual outfit which consists of a black combat dress and leather armor. She looks a lot more like an assassin now than before.
"Come on, we have to meet Leonidas and Desmond at the Auberge of the Seven Cats," Trinity said to her apprentice.
Saibus nods and follows his mentor while Regiis follows them from the sky.
They arrive at the inn about ten minutes later and can see Leonidas and Desmond waiting for them on a bench next to the entrance.
Leonidas does not wear his armor but a red Spartan outfit is hidden under a long coat. He also has a fur cape to keep warm against the cold of the Blue Mountains.
The mentor and the apprentice get up when they see Saibus and Trinity arrive. They join them and begin their long journey to Kaer Morhen.

It has been three weeks since their departure from Novigrad and they are in the capital of Kaedwen, Ard Carraigh. The stay of Saibus and Trinity in this city will not last long unlike the previous one. This time, they are only there for one night before returning to Kaer Morhen, the bastion of the Wolf School holed up in the heart of the Blue Mountains. They take two bedrooms with two single beds and go straight into their bedrooms, Trinity and Saibus in one and Leonidas and Desmond in the other. Trinity takes off her assassin outfit, takes a shower and puts on some casual sleepwear, and lazily lays down in her bed.
Saibus is in bed reading a book about the story of Kaedwen and the witchers of the Wolf School. The Wolf School is one of the five witcher schools also including the Griffin, Cat, Viper, and Bear schools. Saibus knows from his past life that a new school also existed, but it has now disappeared. This school was that of Manticore, located in the Duchy of Toussaint.
"Fuuu, you only know how to read Saibus, you're not funny. Relax a little." Trinity said in her usual lazy voice.
Saibus turns his page before answering him by continuing to read. "I relax, I love reading, sketching, or spending time with Regiis. Rather, it is you who are lazy and relaxed all the time and hardly ever take anything seriously. We relax in different ways. 'is all." Saibus replied to his mentor's criticism.
Trinity pouted for a moment before moving her gaze from Saibus to the void so as not to appear embarrassed at her apprentice's argument.
A quiet and restful silence gradually settles in the room at the same time as the moon rises in the sky.

It has been a month and a half since our assassins left Novigrad for Kaer Morhen. They are in the Blue Mountains, making their way through the rocks, trees, and monsters that inhabit this mountain range. Climbing the chain is difficult because of the watches that live there but the more they advance the easier it becomes because the monsters are becoming increasingly rare due to the proximity of the Wolf School.
At the end of the afternoon, they end up seeing Kaer Morhen. A magnificent bastion on the mountainside made of white stones. They continue to follow the path made over the passages of the witchers and arrive at the portcullis at the entrance to the fortress.
"Halt. What are you doing on Wolf School grounds." one of the witchers on duty interrupts their march from the walls.
Leonidas comes forward and shows an assassin symbol on him.
"We are League assassins. We need to talk to your leader, Rennes, about an important matter." The portcullis opens and one of the older witchers comes out and inspects the symbol Leonidas shows. After recognizing her, he looks at the group and signals to the guards that they can enter.
"Follow me, murderers, I will take you to Rennes." declares the old witcher as he brings them into Kaer Morhen.
