Capítulo 15: Doubts and New Allies

There are many extraordinary beings in this world.

Haldor was very clear that to have the giants, he had to be allied with the armored bears.

But the most important thing was his army.

Training day after day, becoming a warrior in training, and then starting to practice the characteristic combat style of the northerners were essential to giving the army incredible functionality in battle.

One could say that as long as they endure the difficulties, everyone has a chance to keep growing.

From the beginning to the end, the stages of battle can be unique when a squad of soldiers is united.

Although their roots were confined to the people of the north, this was due to how they had arrived in this place. Of course, this does not mean that everyone has these customs, and most qualified warriors have the roots of knights.

"My Lord, how could you gain the loyalty of the armored bears? They have a fearsome army; I don't see the reason to keep bothering you about having the giants."

Haldor was watching the armored bears' performance, carrying metal, forging armor, and weapons. "Responding to your first question, my physical change must be enough of an of an answer, and regarding your subsequent opinion, we need the giants and any bastard who might be useful to us."

He couldn't go around telling them about his dream; he even found it surprising that the armored bears believed him about what he said, so he didn't want to abuse his luck.

"Make sure to bring more mountain metal; that's special for killing white walkers using the fire of my dragon." Haldor had learned that dreams were mostly visions of the future.

By obtaining information about what had really happened in this world through a vision of the future, it was more about considering whether his dream was reality or just a lie.

The armored bears believed him; Haldor now believed in what he had dreamed and wouldn't wait long before leaving the far north.

In no more than two years, he could gather enough power to move in that time and leave the far north to reclaim what was his right.

Haldor walked through his village, which was not under renovations, and saw the surrounding villagers looking at him in shock, especially the elders, who were extremely excited.

"My Lord, what happened?"

"Don't you see? He is our savior; the signs were true." After saying that, the group of people kneeled before Haldor.

Haldor looked at Toad. Indeed, the young man before him was the one most likely to be blessed by the forest spirits. At that moment, he felt the closeness between him and the magic.

"Do you want to be blessed by the spirit of the north?"

"Yes, only with the blessing of the North Spirit can I embark on an extraordinary journey. Only then can I take my people to survive outside the extreme cold." Toad looked at Haldor with expectation in his eyes.

"This place no longer has the power to bless you. You should also know this." Haldor's voice silenced Toad, but the next moment, his words made his upturned eyes blaze: "The spirit of the north cannot give you blessings, but now I can."

After speaking, Haldor looked at the hundreds of people surrounding him and said, "From now on, I will be able to give you blessings. At the same time, I will also be able to take you out of this land of ice and snow to live in... Claim the lands that belong to us; I will take you to a warmer place, as we have always wanted."

"I am not their king; I will be a prince, but I don't care about titles because it is a fact that I will take you out of here. Are you really willing to follow me on a bloody path?" After Haldor finished speaking, a circle of elders near him knelt and cheered.

"The people of the sober tower will be loyal to you forever!"

The moment he made contact with Toad, Haldor felt the noble qualities of these people.

There was only loyalty in their eyes.

The people under the protection of the sprout spirit are brave and good fighters, and they are also loyal to what they protect.

When everyone swore loyalty to Haldor and truly became his people, using his magic, he marked them all with the banner of Haldor, which was an armored bear.

Haldor looked at the young men and asked, "Will you be my black cloaks?"

Toad, along with dozens of young men around him, kneeled on one knee, their eyes exuding extraordinary determination and the will to serve a dragon rider.

"My Lord, I swear loyalty to you."

Haldor looked at Baba Voss, who was the commander of his army, and said, "Train them well; bring the breath brought from the mountains; and make sure no one lacks food."

Ravyn, on the other hand, was the commander of his royal guard, while Lucian would help him maintain his wizards, whom he might have in the future.

Knowing they wouldn't be here for long, they wouldn't build a huge city; they would just create a stronghold until everyone was ready to leave.

Haldor didn't know how far he would go, but he was sure not to depend on his father to make decisions, just as his former self had decided.
