"FUCK THIS!" an angry roar boomed throughout the gate cave as those tasked to protect once the gate was breached were at their wits' end. 

The constant banging reminded them of their helpless fate, none of them knew whether they would be resurrected in case of death during this examination.

But they desperately hoped that this was the case as this was the only thing keeping them from just fleeing the place.

Although, demons were ruthless and apathetic to others, they still had emotions like any other sentient living beings. Ambition, greed, lust, hope and fear.

Not many of them were badshit enough to withstand endless torture as every one of them had their own breaking point.

The soul-tearing screams of their fellow demons instilled a seed of fear into their hearts as the agonized pleas for mercy could still be heard outside the reinforced gate.
