The idea of the fic is good, however it’s as if 1) the author wrote an entire, well developed fanfic 2) realized that they had a 20,000 self imposed word limit 3) cut everything out that didn’t involve the mc making a deal with someone else What you are left with, is a confusing story that never tells you when it is or what’s going on. Only that the MC loves to make deals.
if overthinking has an address then it would have been this novel. too much overthinking and killing the plot .
the story seems OK, but I can't get past all the stuff that is left out. I have no idea what year of hogwarts the MC is in, no idea of the rules of his system, and no idea what is going on. I am thinking this is written by chatgpt. I mean the MC has classes with both harry and diggory luna is also in the story. if he is a first year then y is he brewing the drought of living death? if he is 3rd year like Cedric and the twins then y is he in classes with harry? the plot leaves out too much to make sense.
