Capítulo 51: The Storm

The moment Daphne clapped her hands, behind her, a passageway opened up within the wall. From it, the sound of heavy footsteps steadily drawing closer reverberated through the room with an ominous weight. 

'What is this?'

The sheer pressure emanating from the passage was suffocating, even though Conrad was viewing it through the dragonfly's senses, he could still feel its crushing weight. 

Kimra was visibly on edge, she gritted her teeth, adjusted her stance, and held her dagger firmly before her as if to brace herself for whatever was about to emerge from those shadows. 

Then, from the passageway, the figure emerged. 

Now bathed by the dim light of the room. It was a woman, a young-looking maid with neck-length beige hair and piercing ember-lit eyes. She stepped forward with measured, almost mechanical strides, her expression was as vacant as ever.

'I knew she couldn't be far…Miss Nelda, what is she wearing?'
