The silence stretched between Su Jiyai and the system, thick with tension. 

"Well?" she said, her voice low and sharp. "Are you going to continue your half-truths, or are we done playing games?"

The system's voice, when it finally responded, was laced with something close to resignation.

"Dangerous? I'm already living in a world overrun by zombies. What could possibly be more dangerous than that?"

[You're not wrong,] the system said carefully.
