The city became a living hell not long after the zombie virus outbreak. The government swiftly built a wall to stop the virus from spreading, but the same wall had also prevented the survivors from escaping.
It became a city where millions were infected, a place where no rescue would ever come. Five years later, Su Yang and his sister broke through the wall using explosives and finally got out of Shanghai.
However, what awaited them was not the hope for a better future, but the cold dark muzzles of guns pointed at them.
A row of armed soldiers stood in front of them as their captain yelled, “Return to the city!”
Su Yang was stunned, his heart filled with anger.
He witnessed his sister get shot in the head and had no choice but to go back to the city with his sister’s corpse. When he returned to the city, an unfamiliar voice rang in his head.
“Do you want the world to end?”
Half a year later, Su Yang had become the ruler of the millions of undead.
With his reddened eyes, he watched as the world ended beneath his feet.

So basically if a city ceases to exist. About 30 million inhabitants, it's ok to destroy the rest of 8 billion of humanity. It sounds like a very human narrative.
We have a Chinese with a Chinese name that is difficult to remember and pronounce. He and his sister destroy a part of a wall; the wall is what prevents the spread of the virus to the whole world; when destroying and trying to get out through that gap, they are stopped by soldiers who order the protagonist to retur, the protagonist refuses to follow the order and uses his sister as a meat shield. The protagonist returns to the starting point with the corpse of his sister, blaming evil capitalism.
This novel is pretty new, saw it on faloo the other day. From the writer notes it's suppose to be a dark story...? Not sure what's it about
After the reviews I don't want to read it anymore. Someone please do tell if it's worth giving a shot or I'll be losing braincells and have my anger sprout to the heaven
It's very similar to a horror movie, if people weren't stupid, the novel would end in the first chapter. simple, send a nuclear bomb to the city and eliminate everyone there.
This is one of those rare moments for me where the webnovel minimum character limit on reviews actually hurts me since most of my reviews are almost excessive while this novel can be summarised in one word: nonstarter. 0/5.
From what I have read so far the novel is kinda annoying and honestly the mc who should have known that humans will be scared and wary of him instead of playing smart he does the stupidest things and gets his sister killed so he decides to murder humanity

I like the book but I'm a little hesitant about reading it further because books like this are really good but sometimes they surprise you and they get bad like the longer the book goes on it gets worse and I don't know if I want to read that .like sometimes I said they surprise you and they become great the longer they go on but I don't know where the story would go after he brings the wall down obviously the story would continue to go on but that's not always a good thing
