Several minutes before Shiyon arrived...
I lock the door, wedging a nearby mop against the knob to keep it shut. The sound of the handle rattling faintly echoes, but it is distant—unimportant. My focus is solely on the bastard in front of me. I pin him against the toilet, my grip digging into the back of his neck.
%*&^@#%WHAT DID YOU FUCKING DO TO SAKURA THAT NIGHT?!%@#^*&%@$ The words tear from my throat. My voice feels alien, as though it isn't mine. Somewhere in the background, someone pounds on the door, I hear chatter. The hallway outside is loud. Gon's quiet groans mix with the hollow thud of the toilet seat beneath him.
"Fuck you...!" he spits, teeth clenches and voice hoarse. Blood dripping from his split lip into the water below, a slow, crimson ripple. "Just do what you gotta do... Pillow fucker!"
His words try to stab, but the anger boiling in my veins numbs everything else. His face, though twisted in pain. But I didn't care. He would pay.
"You motherfucker... Acting like some kind of hero... WHERE WERE YOU LAST NIGHT, THEN?! HUH?!" he roars, his defiance faltering, his voice cracking under the strain. "FUCK YOU! JUST FINISH ME OFF...!! ACTING LIKE YOU CARE ABOUT HER...!!! WHERE WERE YOU THEN, AAAH!!!?"
A voice whispers in the chaos, cutting through my fury like a blade.
Stop.
I ignore it, pressing harder on his nape, feeling his resistance weaken. He would break.
Ah, playing this game, are we? Fine. While you're ignoring me, tell me—what's next? The voice is sharp, calculating, its tone casual. What's your grand plan? Letting your emotions take over like this? This is exactly how the NTR Antagonists win. Exactly what we must not do.
I don't care...!!
Emotions must be killed, the voice let out. I understand they creep in sometimes. But now? You're out of control.
He deserves it! He will break!
Look at him, the voice demands. You've thrown your little tantrum. Now, LOOK at his face. You can read people. So, what do you see?
Against my will, my gaze shifts to his face. His bloodied features twists in a grimace—not of fear, but of something heavier. Regret. Blame.
Do you think someone guilty of hurting an innocent girl would tell you to finish him off? Do you think someone as straightforward as that Gorilla—who apologized for bullying Cuck of all people—could hide guilt now? Use your head.
The voice digs in further, Give me the wheel. We have a promise to keep. Or have you forgotten?
The world narrows, her face flashes before my eyes, searing through the fog of rage.
I release my grip, my hand trembling as I step back.
Fine… He's yours, I whisper inwardly.
Ours, the voice corrects, calm but commanding.%#(*^%$*(&@%#*&(^@%$*&(^@$Yuuto took a deep breath, his voice steady but low.
"I care... because I care about her, Gorilla," he muttered, stepping back to lean against the sink.
Gon gasped for air, his chest heaving as he stared at his reflection in the toilet water. Bloodied and battered, the image before him mirrored the chaos of the trashed bathroom—splintered stall doors, streaks of crimson on tiles, and the relentless banging on the door behind them.
'What a mess,' Yuuto thought, surveying the scene with an air of detachment. 'Blood, broken doors, and someone trying to bash their way in.'
His gaze flickered back to Gon. 'Well, I know how to clean it up. All I have to do is get this Gorilla on my side. Time to stop reacting and start being more… proactive.'
He folded his arms, watching Gon slowly rise, leaning against the toilet paper hanger for support. Yuuto's expression was unreadable, his eyes cold and calculating.
"You barely fuckin' know her..." Gon growled, wiping the blood from his face. His legs trembled as he stood.
"You're right. I don't know her at all, actually." Yuuto replied simply.
'...Even though I kind of do, thanks to my espionage.' he admitted internally, a trace of pride flickering in his thoughts.
"But..." Yuuto's tone softened slightly, his gaze shifting to his bloodied palm. "That girl doesn't know me either."
Gon tilted his head, his bloodshot eyes narrowing as Yuuto continued.
"And yet, for some reason, she made me promise to be nicer to everyone. She didn't even mind us calling each other by first names... and I accepted."
Silence stretched between them as Yuuto's words sank in.
"That..." Yuuto exhaled, shaking his head as if resigning himself. 'Guess I'm doing this...'
He straightened, his voice firm and his eyes fierce.
"...Puts her at the top of my 'be nicer' list. Call it contractor's bias," he said, his tone calm, and slightly rasp.
Gon's gaze faltered, his shoulders sagging slightly as he looked down.
"So," Yuuto pressed, his eyes locked onto Gon's. "I need to know what happened. What she went through. Because it's not going to happen again. Not to her, not while I'm here."
Gon clenched his fists, his mind flashing back to the mixer—the drugs, the disappearance of his two juniors, his own helplessness.
"Why're you suddenly pouring your heart out to me, Pillow? Acting all mushy and soft? What makes you think I'm not the one who hurt her, especially after... This shit you just pulled?" Gon's voice was rough, as he bit his lip, "You probably stopped being suspicious the moment you realized you're surrounded, dickface."
Yuuto sighed, tilting his head back to glance at the ceiling. "Let's just say," he began, his voice dry, "I've beaten my fair share of people. You didn't do anything. I could tell... So tell me."
'...And you're kind of right. I am surrounded. My future hinges on this Gorilla's response. Fuck. FUCK! Why isn't he caving? Get manipulated already, stupid Gorilla! Do you get an IQ boost when you're beaten to a pulp or something?!'
"... Fuck you. I ain't telling you shit. Have fun being expelled and beaten up by Aniki," Gon spat, his anger bubbling over.
'God... Damn it... I don't have time to torture him into submission... Tsk.. FUCK!'
'Fine.'
'Time for a leap of faith, then.'
"... Fine," Yuuto replied, his tone calm as he stood and turned to face the bathroom door.
"Just," Yuuto continued, his voice measured, "do tell me one thing. I'm already getting expelled, so just answer this one question." His words hung in the air, catching Gon's attention.
"Were there..."
"...Black Letters in the mixer with you...?" he said with sudden intensity.
"FUCK...!!" Gon shouted, his face paling at the mention of the name.
'...Gotcha,' Yuuto thought, a subtle grin tugging at the corner of his lips.
"... DO YOU KNOW THOSE FUCKERS?! TELL ME NOW, OR—"
"Ah," Yuuto interrupted smoothly, "the banging's getting louder. Looks like this is it. Since I'm already getting expelled..." He turned his gaze toward Gon, his tone dripping with mock regret.
"You won't ever find out. How awful."
"Tssche...!!! FUCK..." Gon growled, the frustration evident in his voice. Yuuto casually lowered his hand to the door handle, teasingly hovering over it as if ready to open the door.
"WAIT," Gon blurted, grabbing Yuuto's shoulder.
"What? Got something to say?" Yuuto asked, his voice laced with amusement.
"Tell me about them after you get expelled," Gon said flatly, his tone betraying his desperation.
'The nerve of this Gorilla...' Yuuto rolled his eyes.
"Nope. Have fun not knowing anything," Yuuto quipped slyly, his palm resting on the doorknob.
"FUCK... JUST... JUST..." Gon stammered, clenching his fists tightly. "You fucking dickface. Look at me and look at you! You talk like you can get out of this if I cooperate with you! Everyone saw what you just did to me. There's no way you won't get expelled! So just tell me before that!!"
"Ahaha," Yuuto chuckled, spinning on his heel to face Gon. His expression darkened, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "And who decided that? You?" He tilted his head slightly, his eyes narrowing as he looked down at Gon.
'This BITCHFACE DICK...!!!' Gon's thoughts practically screamed as his fists trembled with rage.
"If you really want to know everything about Black Letter..." Yuuto paused, letting the tension simmer before delivering his final words. "...Follow my lead. I have an idea that will be more than believable; especially since it utilizes your hard-earned reputation, and..."
"... Well, mine."
