Capítulo 162: Heading toward a trap

Outside the cave, Marcella and Karlan stood together, their faces etched with concern as the ground shook beneath them. The tribe soldiers nearby exchanged worried glances, uncertain about the source of the disturbance.

"What's happening inside?" one of the soldiers shouted over the noise, his voice tinged with anxiety. But Marcella and Karlan had no answers to offer.

The tremors intensified, causing the very earth to shudder beneath their feet. Marcella's sharp instincts kicked in, and she immediately recognized the danger.

"Back away!" she shouted urgently, her voice cutting through the chaos. The group quickly retreated, distancing themselves from the mouth of the cave. Within moments, the ground beneath them fractured and collapsed, creating a substantial crater.

Marcella's frustration was palpable as she cursed under her breath, watching the ground give way and swallow the entrance to the cave.
