Capítulo 280: At The Party

Lucian's eyebrows knitted together hearing the unexpected question.

"Well I'm courting her," Lucian replied after a moment of thinking. He knew that father cannor was like a guardian to Katie and the man cared for the girl.

He could have avoided the answer but after taking into consideration Katie's relationship with the old man Lucian didn't dodge the question.

"Don't mind me but I don't find your relationship with her appropriate," the priest has a solemn look on his face.

"Why not?" Lucian asked.

"Your profession is not suitable," father shook his head disapproving of the relationship.

Lucian lifted his eyebrows.

"Katie is a simple girl and by marrying a witch hunter she will only invite trouble and misery," the father spoke softly. Not wanting anyone else to hear him.

"We should let her decide that," Lucian replied.

"Have you told her about your identity?" Father cannor frowned.
