Several days passed.
Some of the trauma had worn off over time, and in the remnants of his fear, Woo Jin felt anger.
He was angry, but not towards the g...
—he did not dare to—
—he was angry at himself, for getting scared sh*tless by the... the... ... ... .
Woo Jin squeezed his eyes shut tightly, begging inwardly for the monster to stop invading his mind. He could almost feel her breath brush against his ears as she giggled, mocking him.
Once he had recovered enough of his wits, he had told his men to stop looking into Le—the gi—her. Just the mere mention of her name instilled a bone-deep fear in him. He could not bear to be reminded of her again. Not so soon, at least.
He feared what would happen if the wretch stretched her claws towards him again. Perhaps he would not be able to keep his life this time.
But in trying to forget her, he came across a new problem—he couldn't do 'it'.
Mr. Kim had even brought a woman for him, once he had recovered enough for such activities, but still it did not feel right.
He touched himself angrily as he forced himself to finish, but no matter what, he just couldn't come.
Woo Jin jumped off from the bed angrily, pacing around the room and throwing things around aggressively in his tantrum.
"Eek—!"
The prostitute flinched at his every move, cowering as she held her head protectively.
She sported a few bruises on her, of his making, but he no longer felt joy over hurting others. It simply made him miserable, as though there was something missing.
Something inside him itched, but he couldn't quite figure out how to get rid of it.
—Perhaps that monster had made him turn into a new leaf.
Crash!
He threw a vase against the wall, and the beautiful piece of expensive art shattered into a million pieces.
The broken crystal ricocheted towards him, and his hand and face bled from the impact.
His heart thumped.
Woo Jin stared at the bleeding wound on his hand.
—No...
This wasn't right.
"No!" he screamed. "No! No!"
It's not right. It's not right!
"Aaaaagh!" Woo Jin grabbed his hair as he screamed, pulling out locks of his own hair. Yet, the pain barely registered. It wasn't right!
It's not right! It's not enough!
"Hiiiiik—!" The prostitute screeched at his sudden burst of madness.
Red-eyed, Woo Jin's head snapped towards the woman. He stormed towards her, pulling her arm.
"Please!" she sobbed fearfully.
"You!" he growled as he placed her hand on his neck. "Choke me," he suddenly ordered.
"W-what?"
"I said, choke me!"
The woman burst into fresh tears as she hastily did as he asked. She hesitantly gripped his neck, barely strangling him.
Woo Jin glared at her half-hearted attempt. She had no intention to hurt him and he was only getting irritated instead.
"Is that all you got?" he spat, glaring down at her.
This wasn't right.
It wasn't enough.
"Hahahaha—"
The monster giggled behind him. "You sick pervert," she whispered. "Even after all that, you still want it?"
He flinched, but decided to ignore her. Instead, he grabbed the woman's hand and forced her to scratch his chest with her nails.
It barely injured him, but the sharp, stinging pain sent shivers up his spine. It tingled, mixing pain and pleasure together.
—Not enough.
Woo Jin breathed deeply as he let go of the woman. He collapsed on his knees as he desperately clung onto the pain he was feeling.
He was hard.
"Ha..." Woo Jin trembled. The monster's face resurfaced in his mind.
Her sickly sweet smile was directed towards him, and for a moment he imagined that it was her who had given him the wound.
Woo Jin touched his privates. It throbbed in want.
"Are you enjoying it?" the monster asked. Her voice was soft, angelic even, as she dragged her claws against his chest.
He imagined her kicking him down with her pale, lovely limbs, stepping on him with ridicule in her gaze. "You disgusting trash," the monster seemed to say.
The monster's face came close to him, and he recalled her sweet scent intermixed with the tang of blood.
Her thin, pale fingers traced the contours of his face, her nails digging into his skin, down to his neck, leaving a trail of searing pain in her wake. The monster would not be gentle with him; he did not deserve anything more than the sharp ends of her fingernails. Her affectionate touches were not reserved for the likes of him.
Woo Jin's grip tightened on his phallus to the point where he could barely feel the blood circulating; any stronger and he might break himself.
The monster's phantom parted her lips, revealing her pearly whites; not perfect like someone who had worn braces, but still beautiful in that natural and imperfect way with her little fangs and probably baby teeth that had yet to be outgrown.
He imagined her mouth landing on his shoulder, and he screamed as she bit down.
Pain and pleasure exploded in his mind, and he no longer knew where one sense ended and the other began. It was all a boggled mess.
"—!"
He let out a breathless gasp as he ejaculated.
"Ha—" His d*ck throbbed as he began to laugh hollowly, a slackened smile on his face.
"Hahahahahaha!"
He finally understood.
—She was no monster.
His lower parts tingled from the remainder of his orgasm. It wasn't enough, but all was finally right again.
Woo Jin stood up, shaky but refreshed.
The girl's phantom wrapped herself around him from the back, whispering sweet curses into his ears with her devilish lips. Still, he paid it no mind.
He closed his eyes for a few seconds, indulging in the wretch's bountiful scorning, before opening them again.
—Something inside him had twisted and changed, but he was unexpectedly fine with it.
Woo Jin threw open the door and stepped out of the room in his birthday suit. The light from the living room blinded him for a brief moment, but his eyes adjusted to the change quickly.
"Sir?" Mr. Kim bowed respectfully despite his confusion.
"Ah, Mr. Kim! Just the man I wanted to see. Where are my clothes?" Woo Jin grinned at him, feeling new and complete.
"Right here, sir," the elderly man gestured to the rack of suits on the side, all custom-tailored for the scion.
Woo Jin skimmed through the luxurious variety before taking his pick.
"Sir?" Mr. Kim querried as the younger man dressed himself.
"What?"
"Are you... alright now?"
Woo Jin smiled widely.
"Yep! All fixed, now."
"That's good, then, sir. I'm glad." Mr. Kim's shoulders slackened in apparent relief. The older man did not notice his ward's newfound strangeness.
"Right," Woo Jin nodded in agreement. His eyes twinkled in amusement and anticipation.
—Lee Yeo Ri was no monster; she was an angel—his angel of salvation, who came here to punish the foolish him.
