Good afternoon mom Natalia greeted as soon as she step inside.
Afternoon baby how was lecturers today Bertha smile as she asked
It was good Natalia answered.
Alright go keep your bag upstairs and freshen up while I get your food ready in the mean time Bertha urged her daughter ask she went to the kitchen to dish out some food.
few minutes later Natalia came down after freshening up.
I suppose dad already left for the base Natalia asked her mom as she settled down on the dining chair.
Yes sweety but he promised to be back before tomorrow for my concert Bertha calmed her daughter down.
Alright mom....what are we eating the afternoon Natalia asked as she rubbed her hands.
Why don't you take a guess baby Bertha threw the question back to her.
From the aroma I can smell some yummy dishes am uncovering them mum she said ask she said a prayer of thanks in her heart.
This pasta is yummy mom...your cooking never ceases to amaze this young soul Natalia sighed dramatically while touching her chest.

I guess some of Nelly's trait is finally starting to rub on me Natalia said with a sigh.
Pass me some chicken wings mom Natalia stretched her hand for some.
Why don't I serve you today it's being long my dear Bertha said as Natalia grinned
Bertha stood up and dished some chicken wings for her.
Let's clean up after eating so eat more to get some strength to do some work in the kitchen.
Alright mom Natalia managed to say with a full mouth.
few minutes later after the finished eating and resting they proceeded to the kitchen to do the dishes after which the went to the garden to spend some quality time with each other.
Capítulo 24: Secret
The following morning after Natalia prepared herself as she smiled all the way knowing that Friday was meant for sports all through and the dismissal time was early.
On her way to the to class she came across Nelly who readily joined her as they went to the changing room to change the outfit to suit the sports they were about to do.
I'm going to be the point guard for today Nelly announced as a group of girls join them in the changing room.
I will be your fellow guard for today Nelly Ann said.
If I didn't know your strength Art girl I would be teasing you by now because of your tiny frame Lizzy The basketball captain and the girls big man joked.
Natalia I know you won't be changing your position of power forward Lizzy asked.
Nope...I want to make baskets as usual Natalia teased her.
Really if you started earlier with us you would have been the captain for sure and now I feel like I don't deserve it...your moves are just too smooth Lizzy praised her.
OMG....who is peeling an onion here Nelly asked as the group laughed.
Let's get going people Lizzy shouted as the made their way out.
This was supposed to be a secret and surprise Ella announced getting the attention of the girls.
What's up Nelly asked her
I heard from coach Liam that we are having a friendly match with a sister school that should be arriving in school any moment from now Ella dropped the bombshell as the girls gasped.
Remind me again why I was getting secret messages at night to train after I get back home Natalia asked with visible question mark on her head.

Me too Nelly affirmed as everyone nodded.
I guess we will be surprising Coach soon with our readiness.
