Capítulo 252: New look (2)

"I hope I didn't oversleep too much. We were meant to be on the road to get into town before night," Aurora said, hoping she did not already mess up her plans. She did not expect the drinks to be so strong. "I didn't even get to enjoy the food Vincent and I bought. Where on earth did I even put it?"

"I am never drinking more than one cup of alcohol," Aurora promised herself. The sweetness of what she drank last night had completely hidden how much alcohol was actually in the cup. 

As far as she could remember, she had not done anything embarrassing last night where she would need to dig a hole and bury herself.

"Vincent?" She called for him as she exited the bathroom but she found the room to be empty. "He listened to me. How kind of him."
