Capítulo 204: HALCYON - PART 4

"Come along, Deacon, let's finish talking about this in my study," said Lord Alexsander. 

He was weary after all the extraordinary events of today and thought a delicate glass of cognac and a cigar was in order. But that would have to wait. 

"I have so much to ask you about this morning, I'm not even sure where to begin." said Kane as he walked beside Deacon to his office. 

Lord Alexsander felt a sense of loss seeing the little boy gone and looking at a young man in his teen years. He was sure this must have been a shock for Deacon, too. Kane wondered if this was what had affected his mood. 

As Kane held the door open for Deacon to enter the study, it was still filled with books and scrolls, just as he had left it the night Deacon got his wings.

While Deacon moved books out of a chair and sat down before his father's desk, Kane observed his grim expression.
