/ Urban / America 1919
Resumen
In 1919, Donnie's soul traversed into the United States.
To start off, Donnie, just a soldier who had recently stepped down from the battlefields of World War I, was framed by his superior. Before the Prohibition era began, he took over a bar in Atlantic City. With the perspective of a transmigrator and ruthless tactics, he gradually became the largest bootlegger in America.
In the roaring twenties, Donnie delved into bootlegging, ran beauty pageants, built his career, and stormed Wall Street.
Decades later, when people studied modern American history, they found that the name 'Donnie Block' was one they simply could not ignore!!!

Escribe una reseñaThis story is a hidden gem, and to be honest I found it be chance. I’ve just started and I’m already invested. I can’t even tell if this is a translation or the author is a native English speaker, so if it’s translation TOP job. The roaring 20’s an amazing period in history yet I almost never read about it in web novels, and the ones in that period are usually political, kingdom building or war based. ANYONE reading this review, STOP what you are doing and enjoy the story.
Well written urban novel with good story and complex characters. This is the realistic novel i read so far and i hope you try it too
This is my first review, a very good novel and i highly recommend this novel for new readers also the schemes and conspiracy are top tier
I like this book. There are of course, historically inaccurate things, but if you can ignore those things, then it's a genuine enjoyable book, maybe a little rushed here and there, but still nonetheless enjoyable. I like the way the characters are portrayed and the way Donnie uses his smarts to end up becoming the winner or at least the last man standing.
actually seems interesting and I love that it is different and set in prohibition times. I only reda a few chs but I am left confused about where he came from, it says he transmigrated no? but from where? either way I like that is different!!!
