Capítulo 343: The Blue Wolf
As Selene fell to the ground exhausted and breathing heavily, she saw her wolf turn back. The wolf locked its eyes with Selene, its eyes mirroring her pain and desperation. The stark blue in them faded slowly as she saw the white fur now turn to a mere silhouette. Their connection was evident in the intensity with which her wolf waited in place.
Selene could see the struggle within it, the raw effort to stay connected to her, but their wills failed before the witch's magic.
The wolf was wrenched from her, transforming into one of Dandeline's creations—a blue, dead spirit. As its eyes lost their light and glowed, the wolf was pulled back towards Dandeline. Its lifeless form left Selene's heart aching with a deeper sense of loss. This was worse than having a soulmate ripped apart. The wolf made no effort to resist Dandeline.
"Please," Selene could only mouth her agony.
