Capítulo 342: Losing her half

Selene stood frozen, her heart pounding in her chest as the truth unraveled before her eyes. The forest around her seemed to close in, the once vibrant greens and browns now oppressive and stifling. The weight of Dandeline's words bore down on her, crushing the fragile hope she had clung to.

"You cared for me..." Selene's voice was barely above a whisper. Her eyes met Dandeline's grinning ones, "You helped me when I was in the dungeon to feel warm and... feel alive... you kept me from giving in to death... Why? Why give me the hope?" Selene's voice trembled, tears welling up in her eyes. She could still remember when the first time they had gone to Winterwells and Selene was badly injured in the first fight. Dandeline had cried innocent tears for her sitting by the hospital bed when Selene had fought the Beta of Winterwells. 

Was it all fake?

Was the queen controlling her?
