"Luna! Luna Safira!"

Safira perked up immediately, confused by the urgency in the messenger's voice. She saw a wolf running towards her, shifting back into a human form just a few feet in front of her.

"What is it?" She asked swiftly as she attempted to hide the worry in her voice.

Could something bad have happened?

"Alpha Damien requests your presence at once. At the western border by the forest!" The wolf explained between gasps of air.

She turned to meet Diana's eyes. The other she-wolf looks equally puzzled.

"Have the borders been breached?" She asked the messenger, wondering if she needed to mobilize more warrior wolves for backup.

The she-wolves she'd been training learned quickly. But they didn't have any real experience in combat. Perhaps this was the time to put their skills to the test.

The messenger was silent for a moment, seemingly unsure of how to phrase their words.

"It's… it's… complicated," they finally spoke.
