Capítulo 66: Safe In Your Arms

Safira felt weightless in her own mind. It felt as if she was floating on water. Nymeria was by her side, paddling in the water. She had never felt such tranquility in a very long time, she almost didn't want to leave.

But Damien's voice had been echoing through her mind and memories of the time they had spent together played on repeat. Ever since they first met, it felt as if either of them was always in some form of danger.

Was she truly a curse, like what others had been calling her for years?

Safira let out a sigh.

"If only things could be a little simpler," she whispered to herself, "Perhaps removing myself is what's best for us."

"Our mate loves us. We cannot abandon him," Nymeria protested as she came up next to Safira.

The scenery changed. They were no longer in water. Now, they were laying on freshly cut grass, looking up at an endless clear sky.
