Capítulo 67: Eyes Upon You

"Hey everyone!! He's coming! He's coming!" Katherine announces for everyone in the club to hear. "Ruby was on the call with me just a few minutes ago and she said they were leaving the house! Get ready!" 

Katherine was actually excited for this day. For the first time, she has planned such an event for David. She never knew why he hadn't celebrated his birthday before and always remained aloof on this day, never trying to get out of his room or allowing someone to meet him inside. 

When Maverick told her why he has always been like that on his birthday, she suddenly felt sorry for him but never tried or dared to do something for him. Her motive has always been to please and convince Maverick before but today this opportunity was like killing two birds with one stone. 

One, Maverick will be pleased if she tries to act lovey-dovey with David to keep up their temporary engagement thing.
