A sense of déjà vu washed over Brianna when her eyes landed on Ian, seated calmly with his legs crossed with an almost lazy look and then on Currey, who stood straight by the wall on one side in the private meeting room.

She shivered, wondering why she was having such a physical reaction to a mere dream, but shook her head, dismissing the thought and reassuring herself that all was just a dream and nothing else.

 Her mind was a mess. She was unsure if she had come in earlier and left for the bathroom. Everything was too vague and foggy for her. This was so unlike her! To add to it, she was getting unbearably hot, to the point that she wanted to take off that skimpy outfit that she had on.

Sweat trickled down her back, making the dress stick to her body. She fanned herself with her hand and then glanced at the numbers on the air conditioner. It was low enough to even warrant a jacket, so it didn't make sense that she was feeling this hot.
