"It's morning already," I muttered as the sun's rays filtered through the window of the wooden house, illuminating the room.
I had been so absorbed in alchemy that I lost track of time. I suppose I can't be blamed since I don't follow a strict schedule in this alternate world.
Then again, my sense of time is distorted, so these things hold little meaning for me.
Time no longer seemed to matter.
No.
It was simply that time was just time, and whatever occurred during those moments happened.
In other words, I felt myself gradually becoming someone who simply went with the flow.
Not the wisest approach, I must admit, but this was the real world, not my old world. I was free to do as I pleased, and that's precisely what I intended to do.
Regardless, I was quite content with my sleepless night of alchemy.
