“Looks like you’ve been in the underworld for too long,” the more senior person said tiredly. “Some things don’t have deep reasoning behind them. Or do you want me to hand you over to the police instead?”

White Wolf didn’t give a reply. His silence was enough to convey that he didn’t wish for that at all, and that made “Cheewin” show a wide smile.

“You don’t, right? Then relax. I don’t have any plans to hurt you. What would I get out of bullying a child like you?”

That might be true. Upon another thought, it became apparent how much more superior this uncle was to White Wolf. He could completely ignore him and let him be arrested by the police too.

“Then, why do you want to meet us?” Joke also asked. “I don’t think it’s just because you want to thank me for cooperating with the police and helping them capture Henry.”

“Do you see me as such an uncaring person?”
