Cacey opened her eyes, heavy from sleepiness. Her senses were heavily dulled. Her brain was foggy. Her vision was not clear. Something was happening to her, she felt.
She closed her eyes, but she did not fall asleep immediately. She was trying very hard to clear the fog from her brain. She didn’t know where she was, what time it was, or which day. All she could feel was tired, exhausted, and sleepy.
“Where was I?” She tried to remember the last scene she experienced. Then she remembered being inside a cage or something. Then they released sleeping gas inside to make her fall asleep.
She tried to open her eyes but could not.
A long time had passed since then. Cacey could not open her eyes, but she felt human hands all over her body.
