So, Albert ordered the servants to support Eliza as she grudgingly rose to her feet and spread out her arms on the shoulders of her supporters. Eliza kept staring at Jaden, shocked by how he was treating her.

All this time, Eliza had been waiting for Jaden and was glad when she heard him coming into the throne room. Only for him to pass by her, not even wondering why she was there in the state she was in. Her heart broke and she sulked as she left the throne room. 

Eliza wondered if it was Zuri, the human slave, in her position, would Jaden act the way he acted right now? Eliza felt that Jaden would have rushed to Zuri and attended to her with so much love. 

But what did she get? Nothing. Eliza grounded her teeth the more she thought about it. 

What made matters worse was it was clear that Prince Stephan also protected the human slave. It was infuriating to Eliza and she couldn't help but feel like her insides were on fire.
